When Kirk is talking about Gorkon, I can only presume this is set before Star Trek VI: Undiscovered Country as the screenshots for Klingon Academy shows Chang without his eyepatch, so my guess is that it's just after the Enterprise crew gets back from the "final frontier".
I'm kind of disappointed that they got the bridge wrong that is the NCC - 1701 bridge not the NCC - 1701 A Bridge at least they could have got it right
@@brettcooper3893 or simply the A Module had issues and had to use a spare while they fix what's wrong. It happens. The bridges are modular, easily removable.
@@jasonwalker79 Yes, but in Star Trek Final Frontier, Scotty says "This ship must have been put together by monkeys!" which causes him to have to refit the entire ship whilst the Enterprise A was in space dock.
@GenGamesUniverse I remember reading about that it was also rumored that alot of the systems on the enterprise were damaged by the probe in star trek 4

Also it's a little easter egg and nod in Star Trek Online IF you don't choose the TOS era to start with, in that when you're on the ship as the first officer, the captain (who ends up dying from borg attack) will say "Ensign, one quarter impulse power" and the line that you can choose is the exact one Valeris says, to which the Captain commends you on mentioning it and explains he was only joking.
He graduated as a Lieutenant Commander? Uhh.. No.. That literally never happens. But I guess that's not as bad as JJ Trek where Kirk Was made a Captain right after Graduation and given command of the Enterprise with only 3 years of Starfleet Academy behind him..
It's Command College, not the proper academy, it's a mid-career professional training school. IRL U.S. Army send their O-3and O-4s, Captains and Majors to Command and General Staff College.
There's an Academy 'Movie' out there, but the last mission is missing. Glad its up here.
The “Starfleet Call of Duty” award. Lol that aged like wine, didnt it

As I recall, it was set in 2290, where TUC was set in 2293
Ah, the good ol’ days… how many cd roms? 4? 6? 😸👍
Of course I remember the really old good ol’ days, with a dozen plus 3 1/2 inch floppy‘s!
6, and the sleeve had the symbols for the different departments on it, too. I LOVED this game
Shure, Nimoi's voice is PERFECT for STO, but you gotta admit, changing to Sulu would be badass too XD
Funny thing, they take Kirk, Sulu and Rotherot with them. They are on the bridge when Forrester orders to leave the drydock LOL
Oh how I loved this game.
This game is still better than Legacy or Online.
A very tricky but satisfying mission once you figure out how to beat it. 🙂

Maybe this takes place in some alternate universe that closely neighbors the Prime, where things are slightly different.

Remember in star trek 4 the 1701 A bridge looked exactly like the 1701 refit

Excellent
I think you’re supposed to ask yard control for permission to depart. Oh, and releasing the docking clamps might be a good idea as well. 🤣
Only in spacedock. In Drydock you're allowed to depart. Not to mention, Kirk was there anyway, so he gave the permission to "take her out"
Leaving drydock with impulse power?? You didn't mean full impulse, did you? Full impulse = 1/2 speed of light.
Kirk himself has a habit of leaving drydock on 1/4 impulse. Still way too fast, and completely against regulations. But no one tells Kirk what to do.
I'm glad there are others that know this.

Plus they are wearing uniforms of NCO´s, pretty strange
But does it, literally?

Fun game.
That was disappointing. I couldn't unlock this mission xD I keep getting assigned as a Lieutenant on the Alexandria for a fatass captain.
Me too, I never even knew this mission existed! Played this for years!
All you needed to do was to keep putting effort in the Mclanti research with Sturek.
@@EnterpriseKnight I did that, and still got the Alexandria!
agreed, i never got this level, either.....i graduated, and was sent on a ship (been awhile since i last played it)
@Kris Merritt Oh, yeah I don't tend to get involved. But I'm not starting over; the Venturi missions made me rage like no other.
Pitty, there arent any good startrek games these days. A new botf would be great.
I don't remember this mission
You only get it if you get the highest ratings from your crew + work on the Meclanti simulation four times.
