About 13 years ago when I got saved I started reading the Bible a lot because I wanted to know more about God and what he wanted of me. There was couple of different versions of the Bible being used in our Church and I was told that those newer versions were easier to understand . At home my parents always used the Luther German Bible and the KJV English Bible. So after I got saved I started reading the NKJV and some other modern versions, and after studying I started to realize that they didn’t say the same thing. So I really started comparing the modern English Bibles with the KJV and also comparing them with the Luther German Bible and a lot of times they where totally conflicting with each other. That led me to a long and deep study on the history of the translations and manuscripts , and I came to the conclusion that I cloud believe every word and tittle in the KJV Bible and I have never looked back since.
I'm SO EXCITED! My 12 year old daughter literally just asked me this exact question! I explained best I could and then 42 seconds later this video posted. Praise Jesus! He loves us so very much. Thank you Mr. Pearl.
When I've read through the bible many times, I see that it has to be pure and true, through and through, from beginning to the end. What a wonderful book from our wonderful God.
Before I moved out on my own to a studio, I was blinded by my sins. Being addicted to pornography was one of them. I always believed in Jesus, but I dont think I was truly born again until about 2 years ago. When I moved out on my own, I found a Bible that I had packed. (My family owned many Bibles, but I never really read the Bible growing up). It was a New Living Translation Bible. I began reading and God really spoke to my heart. He convicted me of my sins and taught me how to have a personal relationship with Him. I developed a more prayerful life and a new desire to read His word. I now have a new desire to follow Jesus and surrender everything to Him. Though I slip into sin, the Holy Spirit guides me to ask for forgiveness and to put my eyes back on Jesus. I believe God used the time I spent alone living in my studio to get to really know Him through His word, and the Bible I read was the New Living Translation....I believe God speaks to people in different ways and not just through only one translation
I read NLT version too brother and I love it. Although I haven't made any specific translation the best ,that I say only THIS will I read. When I feel that a particular verse goes over my head I read many standard translations which are ESV AND NASB which are also accurate, and derive conclusions from all. But I believe that God's word says what it means exactly and means what it says. Peace & Grace from Almighty.🙏
Just coming in youtube to scroll thru and watch one of your Bible teachings and I’m glad you uploaded! 💚 Love you, your family, and teaching on Christ! 🙏🏼✝️💚🙌🏼
I started watching u one year ago and have watched every vid u post and follow along in my Bible taking notes of everything u say and i read it on my own later and soak it in and i know what u say is truth and more importantly I’m now in the KJV knowing God actually spoke those words and my mind is blown! I grew up in church and never heard any of this preached from a pulpit and to think i was never hearing any truth
The Holy Spirit has filled me with the comforting word that God knows that we have to rely on the scripture available to us no matter the age we live in. It must be infallible or he would not expect us to be able to live by it so he would not allow the transcriber to change the inspired word.
Hi Mike, we urgently need prayer for are Son.. he is in the hospital with infection, his hemoglobin has dropped to 6.8 , iron is extremely low , they have done 3 surging a week, 3 blood transfusions.. this is a very serious situation. He is only 27 please join with my family in prayer
I trust God and his ways I don't understand all things that's ok trusting him and growing in our relationship is enough for me thankfully he has time for me so I can be the man I want to be. Thank you pastor mike.
I've read both of those books and they are amazing! Thank you for sharing! I had heard your talk on the KJB many years ago and I have never read another version since!
I have used the New King James version for years. Last August I purchased the Tree of Life version. I like it immensely so far. It is a translation with the Hebrew traditions preserved. I have compared verse for verse in several books and chapters; they have agreed completely. I have found one difference concerning the verse numbers for a couple chapters that ended at different places but the words were the same. I have heard of some that are transliterations which change the words and therefore the meaning of the verse. I base my belief on how well the versions we have agree with what was found in the Dead Sea Scrolls.
You are my favorite. And thank you for being careful. Just like the versions. We met 17-18 years ago. You greeted my 3 year old son at Highland Park Baptist Church (Tennessee Temple) in Chattanooga, TN. He is an awesome witness and God follower. Thanks for your lifetime.
I appreciate your explanation, @Michael Pearl, your explaining the "present tense" of the profitability the scriptures are for "correction, doctrine and proof" really clarify that every translation of the word will be close enough that what's necessary to obtain everlasting life will be recognized by EVERYONE called out of the world. For all that's NOT called out it doesn't matter, they will reincarnate to be called out. What we don't accept is, per Isaiah 45:7, God does everything being done any and everywhere in existence through every entity in existence. Such things like "reaping and sowing," "you must be Born Again," Matthew 19:29s "forsake everything civilization has to offer" and other such instructions will always be understandably written so we have no excuse for not doing it except when we aren't called out of the world. Thank you for your presentation on the subject. ~ Love & Respect ~ Elijah Natureboy
Because of the LORD’s great love we are NOT CONSUMED, for his compassions NEVER FAIL. They are NEW EVERY MORNING; GREAT is your FAITHFULNESS. -LAMENTATIONS 3:22-23"
Well explained mr Pearl . So many people now suddenly questions the bible with the wrong motive in mind , instead to study the word of God so that they can be saved and instead to judge the bible's origin . And I also agree that the KJV is the most accurate and true .
Well that's an interesting coincidence. I just ordered all three of these books (plus some others on Calvinism) from you all on Monday, and they're in my hands right now. Looking forward to reading through these!
I did and have respurred my digging into the different "translations" and the final straw for me is, when it is just the text, no maps no commentary, JUST the words of God, the KJbible has no copywrite. All other bibles do. Why? I sometime look at other versions but I always come back to KJ.
Brother, I’m glad that you teach the Truth in so many areas. This is one area that is unsettling and divisive for a disciple such as yourself. The present tense in Timothy didn’t stop in 1607, 1609, or 1611. It almost sounds like a circular argument. I’m not as erudite as you, but my experience with The Holy Spirit over the past 51 yrs. has been, when I come to the Word earnestly, He reveals the Truth I am needing and the ability to understand and then the wisdom to live it out. He does the revealing, not some King James of England assembly of theologians. He can use out fallible attempts to translate for the vulgar language. Peace to you, Paul
Thanks Mike! Can you speak to the book of Esther? I’ve seen quite a bit of back and forth on it with some interesting issues raised that I’d never considered.
God has most definitely preserved the integrity of His Word. The book of Isaiah from the 100 BC + Dead Sea Scrolls varies in only minor differences in spelling which did not affect the meaning of the text. However, there are a few copying mistakes in the bible that usually involves numbers like in 2 Chronicles 22:2 or in 1 Kings 4:26 and a few others. None of that alters the plan of salvation or even the reliability of God's inerrant Word because God gave us good common sense to use as well discernment. We walk in liberty, not under the Law so both sides should lighten up and concentrate on the big picture while trying to understanding the little things. The biggest error for me is knowing that Israel was not under 400 years of slavery in Egypt. The math doesn't add up. There were 430 years from the promise given to Abraham until the Exodus. That 430 years included the time as soujourners in Canaan as well as the time in Egypt both as slave and free. The Septuagint makes that clear while the Masoratic Text and English translations do not. But, the big, big thing that differs from then and now is that we have the Holy Spirit of God. He keeps our doctrine honest and pure. It really is not a difficult thing because we have the checks and balances of God's Word and the teachings and preachings of Godly men so that man is without excuse for substantial error.
I studied the NIV, cover to cover. Although, was given a personalized KJV at confirmation. (Lutheran). The NIV was more understandable, if that makes sense, I failed English in 9th grade because I couldn’t understand the Shakespeare portion requirement. I dropped down to basic English, and made straight ‘As’ until I graduated. Why? Because I only understand basic English. I’m not dumb, and did memorize the KJV of the Lord’s Prayer and Nicene Creed. But only understood it’s meaning during Confirmation Classes after the words were broke down. Now older, I believe the Holy Spirit now in control, and if he wants me to understand something, he will make it understandable. ✝️😄
I find great joy in someone who believes exactly the same way I do I've always believed the King James Version is the word of God. Satan has been working for years in burying the truth.
Here is the question I hoped you would answer: How do we know that the KJV translation was divinely inspired, and all the other newer translations were not? Thanks
Some people just want to nitpick over things so they don’t have to fully believe in what the Bible says if they convince themselves it’s full of errors.
Thank you for sharing this, Michael. I fully agree with you, having discussed this with pastors and many that have gone to university for theology. Even now, there are writings inspired by God. They might not be scripture and are indeed written by fallible men, however what is inspired by God is of God. Therefore, it is wisdom of the highest order. One would have to disregard all that even you say, if they were to live by their educated credence. It's the same as being convinced that just because the writer is not perfect, therefore the words he has written cannot be.
Michael, explain where the "Dead Sea Scrolls" that were discovered in 1946-1947 in Qumran come in at validating or invalidating some passages in KJV? You see in the more modern translations that they have been revised based off of findings from the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Hello! Here is a link to a book Michael highly recommends if you would like to study this subject more. I will post the link here: nogreaterjoy.org/shop/which-version-is-the-bible
One way I explain it Brother. John 1 In the beginning was the Word. The Word, singular. Was made flesh and dwelt among us. We know Jesus is the Word. We know The Word is forever settled in HEAVEN. We know Christ is set at the right hand of The Father... Have a Blessed day Brother
If this is true, could a new translation from the same greek document (textus receptus) be made in current English language and still be inspired and inerrant? Or is the kjv the only option we could possibly ever have in English?
Spot on... Spot on. KJV. Inspired by God through the Holy Spirit. The 49 renowned, God fearing, Holy Ghost filled scholars gathered God's Word for print. Printing press made many simple errors. Happens when you have to arrange letters/words backwards.
I often have concern of translations of the bible men make many errors as I have done in my life. Father please come . he is our hope In this fallen world.
@thedoor how do i address a question. I sent an email and came back as invalid email address. I don’t know if i can ask the question here. Can i? Is anyone going to read it?
Hello! You can submit questions here on Mike's website nogreaterjoy.org/contact-us/general-correspondence/ or write to 1000 Pearl Road Pleasantville, TN 37033
Meanwhile some people are so obsessed over the fact that there are minor errors in each translation that they make it the central point of their lives at the cost of ignoring the huge mountain of truth in the remaining Bible. Straining out a fly while ignoring a mountain.
Hello Mr Pearl, when you have time, I was hoping you could help me understand what Jesus was talking about in Revelations 2, 6&15 when he said he hated the deeds and the doctrine of the Nicolaitans? I was just wondering if you have ever seen this doctrine or know where I might view it for myself? Thanks for your time and knowledge.
Hello, thank you for your question. We have submitted it to Michael Pearl, although, we can not guarantee an answer. Michael and his wife, Debi, receive numerous questions every day and are not able to get to each with the time it would require. As of now Michael has not published anything on this subject.
I received my grandfathers 1958 kjv authorized Bible, I have not seen differences yet between my 1958 kjv and my 2019 kjv. The cover on the 1958 is a hard piece of plastic that breaks apart, thats the only difference i can say I've seen so far.
Thanks for the evidence. Recently I began to doubt my KJV Bible because I been confronted by a scholar. I have yet to learn why I the KJV Bible is the perfect Bible. I always believed that God would have his word preserved, a perfect Bible. Now I don't have much reason to support why I believe the KJB but I have enough reason to trust it as the perfect Bible. Thanks for the evidence my brother.
Yes it is. Plus I have several Bibles that say HOLY BIBLE on it. It’s not just the king James versions. He also took down my comment on that. Shame on him for that.
see Dr Riplingers book Hazarderous Material on Inspiration see Job32:8 cf 2tim 3:16is given present tense in-spir-ation ,the almighty giveth them understanding which is talking about the spirit of God giving preachers understanding to teach doctrine correction and instruction in righteousness
I am sorry to be off topic Sir. I just heard something and a question formed in my mind. Are we as a people, instead of believing in faith and watching our Father deliver the government back to the people, have depended on lawyers and judges to be honest or even care about the will of the people, and in doing so have thwarted all the prayers for deliverance, by speaking bad reports on the state of things in our land? I am very confused on how to respond to what we are experiencing.
There is one word I wish wasn't in the KJV and that is Easter which represents the pagan festival of Ishtar. In Acts 12:4 it should read Passover as vs 3 says 'the days of unleavened bread' then vs 4 reading 'after Easter', is this correct?
If it didn't say Easter it would be incorrect. Verse 3 says, "Then were the days of unleavened bread" when Herod killed James. Unleavened bread came after passover. Easter was a pagan celebration that came after the passover at that particular time.Herod wanted to wait untile after the pagan holiday of Easter to put Peter to death.see Mt 26:27 and Exodus 12 for the timing of passover and Unleavened bread. Always trust God's Word KJV.
Michael H. If you’re going to be concerned about “Easter” you’re going to need a formal/proper understanding of Elizabethan English to grasp what the translators employed by King James meant in their several different copies. Sorry about the run on sentence.
I've always felt strongly compelled to believe only the King James Holy Bible. I have read from "Good news for modern man" the new testament translated into modern English because I was told it is true or a correct translation. Micheal my question would be have I been misguided and are there in your opinion any translations from The King James to the modern English language that you feel are done correctly? I'm sure you have spoke on this. I remember your saying you have compared translations word for word with The King James Holy Bible. Good bless you and yours Micheal!
Hello! Here are a couple videos Mike has made on this topic, I will post the links here: ruclips.net/video/r105blMET2A/видео.html ruclips.net/video/5vg7meQ7jIE/видео.html ruclips.net/video/VBNrXgDQgaY/видео.html
🌟God said, If my people called by my name turn from their wicked ways humble themselves Repent and Pray...turn from their sins then they will hear from heaven and I will heal their Land🌟
May God bless you and the ministry you do. I received the book and started doing some verification from page vii. Now I am more confused. ( I admit my ignorance up front. I have no training in languages other than English.) My first "find" was written by Frank Nelte titled THE NAME LUCIFER HAS NEVER BELONGED TO SATAN! Confused in Hamilton, GA. I am inclined to believe your statements based on the other articles you have presented but this is a hard subject. Adam.
i understand what you are saying here. lets take a look at dana coverstones dreams, yes they do come to pass but, in a way in wich you didnt quit see coming roughly and not quit in the same time frame either, thats what ive noticed and if im not mistaken then id say that in the begining of your video this is what your saying about what daniel was trying to say when he wrote that particular line.
Greetings Michael, thank you for your inspiring videos, they are greatly helping me on my journey to become a better Christian and disciple of Christ. The question that I have for you, and it is truly because I would like to increase my understanding of the Holy Book, is, if the KJV is truly correct, then why does it not refer to the true names of our Heavenly Father, namely "Yahweh" and "Yehovah"? The KJV also does not refer to the real, given name of our Lord and Savior, that being "Yeshua". Again, I'm only asking to learn more. Also, what are your thoughts about the versions of the Bible that do use the Hebrew names? Thank you very much and may God continue to bless you.
Hello! Thank you for your comment. Due to the high volume of questions and comments, we are unable to answer every question with the time and care required. However, Michael has a video called "Should we say "Jesus" or "Yeshua"? - What does the Bible say?" which explains what Mike thinks on using the different names. I will post the link here: ruclips.net/video/t9hrO-W8vAM/видео.html

Very good subject and answers from the Bible itself.
All praise be to our almighty God.

Bottom line there can only be ONE proper translation PER LANGUAGE and the KJV is that translation for ENGLISH.

Was the word "planets" always in 2Kings 23:5 of the KJV bible? Was the theory of Heliocentrism even around back in those days?
One way I explain it Brother. John 1 In the beginning was the Word. The Word, singular. Was made flesh and dwelt among us. We know Jesus is the Word. We know The Word is forever settled in HEAVEN. We know Christ is set at the right hand of The Father... Have a Blessed day Brother

Spot on... Spot on.
I believe KJV is the preserved word of God and that belief changed my outlook towards today's christianity!
Has anyone read the Alep Tav Messianic Scriptures, Its the Aramaic, Greek and English text.
Amen
@@thedoormichaelpearlI understand and thanks for your response.
If I recall correctly, he does mention it in his series on revelation.
😊 Amen
Appreciate you Brother. I hope others bless you as you have me.
What about the NIV is that a good translation to read?
Yes it is. Plus I have several Bibles that say HOLY BIBLE on it. It’s not just the king James versions. He also took down my comment on that. Shame on him for that.
how do you feel about the geneva bible?
see Dr Riplingers book Hazarderous Material on Inspiration see Job32:8 cf 2tim 3:16is given present tense in-spir-ation ,the almighty giveth them understanding which is talking about the spirit of God giving preachers understanding to teach doctrine correction and instruction in righteousness
Amos 8:11 tell us about the present ongoing quantum changes.
David is correct. The KJV bible is infallible.
Is the inverted cross on the channel logo deliberate or accidental?
Hello! It is just the angle of the picture, it was not intentional. It is actually a photo of a full sized interior door with a cross on it.
@@thedoormichaelpearl okay thanks for clearing it up
I've always felt strongly compelled to believe only the King James Holy Bible.

🌟God said, If my people called by my name turn from their wicked ways humble themselves Repent and Pray...turn from their sins then they will hear from heaven and I will heal their Land🌟
THANKYOU BROTHER..........
So as the Chinese are rewriting the Bible, that is considered unbroken scripture?....
Thank You. That Really helped me. KJV.......Not NKJV ????
The NKJ is a bad translation.Google Michael E Todd.A Deadly Translation.
So, are you referring to the 1611 edition of the KJV or one of the other 4 “infallible ” editions?
Jesus Christ said that you should search the scriptures for they speak of him
so the Gender neutral CBE is okay? or The Message ? I know you would agree that there are some very bad translations.
I've always believed the NIV is as bad as the RSV.
