Man, I saw your artworks.. I thought you kind of Craig Mullins generation's dude, cos' you draw like a god. Damn... Could'nt you make an "Art Talk" about your artistic way? About how much you drew and studied all these years. It could cheers many ppl up (me for sure) when they'll see your results! Again, it is fantastic!!!

Thanks for great series Sean! Question. So what is common or differences between high or low key value ranges you described in previous episode and exposure examples you show in this one? How can I plan both key and exposure in my painting?

Hey Michal good question! So for example, the top left exposure example is exposed to the shadows, more of a high key image. However the bottom right is exposed to the lights but uses most of the value scale. Exposure is more about where in the range of light are our eyes focused to see information. Keying is the range of values we choose to use to show that information, which can be as wide or narrow a range as you deem fit for your image. Based on the mood and aesthetic you want to create.
      Hope that makes sense haha

I think I understand but need to verify that in practice and experiment more. For now, I see exposure as blending some blacks or whites from key range into shapes and use it for composition, contrasts or like place where eye rests.
