Ive seen Megadeth 10 times and i always felt like i got more than my money was worth from their shows.... also they sign awesome bands to open for them which is a huge bonus!

Drummer was jimmy Degrasso he recorded Risk and The World Needs A Hero albums, guitarist was Al Petrelli who was also on The world Needs A Hero, you guys would appreciate tnealbums Youthanasia and Cryptic Writngs cos of the more easy listening tunes,however if i was go recommend some reaction songs they wluld come from their first three albums

Thanks for the info on who the drummer was, I remember asking for his name and also the guitarist info.
We have heard a few other comments on how we should listen to the earlier albums, so we shall take that advice and start going back to earlier songs.
You gave us a nice long list to get started with :)

My Mt Rushmore is Guns N’ Roses, Megadeth, Iron Maiden & Metallica. I’ll never need another band to listen too. These bands are just amazing. Cream of the crop. I would have LOVED to be in that crowd! Legendary.

I have been to à Megadeth concert from their United Abominations tour 07 or 08 And The concert was awesome with current songs an old skool songs .I'm glad U enjoyed one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands Megadeth Rulz (Kings Of Metal)!!!!

yes Dave Mustaine is brilliant, inhumanly brilliant musician if you're really gonna dig more Megadeth. Idc about his personality we all are made to know only thru media and news bc we dont know the truth. But we know the fact that his musicianship is beyond pair and timeless. Those all classic song from 90s era, then check out the latest Fatal Illusions from Dystopia 2016 he wrote in age of 55. Still same badass, same thrash king, same riff god we know in 90s. That's why.

I did check out a video interview for Dave Mustaine recorded in 2008, it seems to have been by a German TV Crew and the show was called "Tracked"
Dave had just been to visit the Dentist but still gave a very open and deep interview, where I got to learn a bit more about the man behind MegaDeth, so I am continuing to add to my knowledge and enjoying the experience.
I hope we are doing Megadeth proud for you all.

If you lose the respect from Aerosmith you have mine.
One of the best concerts they ever did, unfortunately the band yet again fell apart after this lineup..... Mustaine suffered a serious arm injury, he was told he’d never play again. He did pull through.. re-grouped in 2004 & released the album “the system has failed” Great album, megadeth after this release climbed back into the thrash scene... long term bass player David Ellefson didn’t return, unfortunately there was a court case between him & Mustaine, Ellefson filed a lawsuit against Mustaine for 18 million dollars.. he lost. He was out for best part of 8 years, Mustaine eventually forgave Ellefson & he returned in 2010. The drummer in this video was Jimmy DeGrasso. The longest serving drummer in megadeth was Shawn Drover, 10 years. He departed in 2014 along with Chris Broderick. I’ve seen megadeth live 10+ times, they’ve never failed to put on a great show... I’ve also met the band a few times too. Keep going boys love the videos 🤘

Wow, seeing them over 10 times is impressive, they do seem to have had many up's and down's yet still kept on producing great hits.
So, let me ask you if you could put together the best ever line up of Megadeth members, who would you pick and why?
We were just so impressed at how easy they made playing and singing live look effortless.

@@BritPopsReact best lineup with no doubt is Mustaine, Ellefson, Friedman & Menza. Any megadeth fan will say the same. In 2010 (20th anniversary of “Rust In Peace”) a reunion was looking good with Friedman & Menza, sadly the deal fell through.... few years later Menza tragically died on stage, playing with his band. Second drummer of megadeth to have passed away. The other being Gar Samuelson. You’ll notice in the later years Dave’s vocals deteriorate, over the years he’s had serious neck issues & most recently throat cancer. He has recovered & announced he is now cancer free. Mustaine is pushing 60 now so I think the new album in the making will be the last.

I also, just to add to my own research watched a small interview with Dave Mustaine, it was recorded in 2008 by it looked like a German Channel called "Tracked" where had just returned from the Dentist and gave a very candid interview on himself, Metallica and his venture into the Black Arts.
Again I will add a little more on our next reactions, but he seemed to be a well rounded guy and not bitter, he wasn't very complimentary about Lars though 😊
@@BritPopsReact it’s a love hate relationship with Mustaine & Lars... Mustaine wrote a song called “Something I’m not” it’s a take on how he feels about Lars.
@@owencorfield6163 Absolutely right. Mustaine, Ellefson, Friedman and Menza is the best line up ever. But I would also mention Chris Poland, their first guitarist from their first two iconic albums. I think he's been enormously underestimated by fans and media. In fact, I'd recommend these guys to react to "Rattlehead", "The skull beneath the skin" or "Mechanix".

I was at the show where Megadeth got kicked off the Aerosmith tour. What really happened is Dave was being smart and said next time Aerosmith could open for Megadeth which Steven Tyler took personal so he had the sound man butcher Megadeth in the mix.. and then the fight was on.

@@BritPopsReact not the worst example of that exact thing happened. Bruce Dickenson said the same about Black Sabbath on the Ozzfest Tour and Sharon Osborne passed out eggs to the crowd to throw at Iron Maiden.

I enjoy reactions, but you guys have no idea what you're talking about!! This band in my opinion is great!! You're saying the guitarist is playing a 7 string guitar? No!! Your comments make no sense!! You are apparently not aware of this genre of music!! How about reacting to bands you're familiar with!!
Your missing the point and maybe take some of your own advice, the point of a reaction channel is to react to something or someone that you know nothing about to get a reaction, if you see our other MD reactions you will see that for us it’s too heavy, it’s just an opinion, perhaps you should listen to different music and broaden :)
