The Snapdragon 778G seems to perform close to Snapdragon 855+ from 2019 It's a win if we could get an overall good phone between 18K to 23K with this chip

But remember, only 1 major android Update.. They are launching in dead end of Android 11. So you only get 1 major update which is Android 12 whereas within a month or two, you're about to get Android 12 out of the box in other brands. Which means, In Edge 20, you're getting 0 updates as it's Android 12 year now. Also less battery too on Edge 20.

Qualcomm will never give 800 series chip GPU in 700 series but at first I thought 778's 642L GPU will perform better or equal to 860's 640 GPU but it's not like that. Why can't Qualcomm simply give old gen 800 series GPU in newer gen 700 chips.
You can't have everything, it's a midrange chip for a reason. mid rangers aren't for hardcore gaming, they have the 8 series for performance and 7 series for day to day usage.
Doubtful! Tech OEM's cannot alter clock speeds of mediatech SOC's. That would be violating mediatech's patent rights. I guess they have just optimised there software better to work with dimensity chip.
I think you did a very good job at your comparisons you were thorough to the point and you ran some very good analysis excellent job. I'm a proud owner of the A52S-5G Samsung phone . This was far superior than the a 72 with the bigger bigger screen and it was far superior than even the a 73 that's coming up in a couple of months. It's all about the chip this is a next generation 700 series chip so if it can piece against an 860 and it's beating it in The geek bench which tells you the ultimate capacity and it's the and total maximum power that it can have access to if it beats the snapdragon 860 which is how much older chip by about 3 years I would imagine it's fair to say that the 778G chip is really classified as a low end flagship.. Because the scores are the same on the anatutu. But in geek bench 5 it beats it by a couple 1000. When I have actually win again some of my buddy's phones that were Samsung snapdragon dragon 845 and 855 I beat them handily. That's because your chips are 3 years or older it's older than this one and this is a chip that really should be considered a little bit on the low end flagship for today's market.... So really this was last year's flagship flagship chip or the year before you could say so I consider it a flagship ship. Planning. Plain and simple that's it and it's 5G ready which means it can outproduce any is outproduced any 4G chip and even on 4G lte this is a rating of 26 versus the 19 It's the number for long term evolution 4G it has a higher rating for that it has a 6.0 wireless connection for Wi-Fi 5.2 for Bluetooth and and the adreno card is 642L whereas my last phone was 602 and the newer ones the predecessors after this were all 6 twelves the L makes a big difference because it's 5G compatible which means you have dual speakers and you can use full 1080P all the time without any disruption this is a great gaming phone.. So my point is is that if it's beating snapdragon 8 sixties and less and it is I don't see it being a mid level chip at all and when 5G turns on forget about it.

@@andrewjohnson1486 dont always go for specs The Dimensity processor is not well optimized and after updates in the long run snapdragon outperforms any processor Even apps like BGMI COD they are also more optimized for Snapdragon then Dimensity and that is the same reason Apps run better on IOS. for example BGMI is way more optimized on IOS so the performance is so much better while it is not that optimized for android and in android apps are optimized better for SD then dimensity. and there is a reason why Oneplus put 870 in their 9 series (OnePlus 9r)

Why you will buy sd778 in 30k range where as we are getting dimensity 1200 in 26k in range which is much superior much faster in every aspects..in 30k u will get sd870 as well...which is more above the mountain....so .sd 778 must come under 25k then it should be a good deal

Because, the 642L is a successor to the 620. 640 is to the 630. 640 is a flagship GPU. You can see in the scores.
