Fans are absolutely overreacting, just because the old Fanatics replica jerseys may not have been the highest quality, they immediately say the new jerseys are crap before even seeing them in person.
Be so fr - look at the "R A N GE R S" Jersey lmfao. And this is on their PROMO video where youd think theyd have the strictest QA
@@itselisantos It's a bad look for sure, but it's not like it's the first time thats happened. We've seen screw ups in promotional material before. But yes, it's not great for a company who already struggles with their QA reputation

I work for Fanatics and there is a difference in the jerseys because I work in the hockey division!! There is also a difference in the elbow. I'm the one who puts the names on the back of the jerseys and the number on the back of the jersey and also the numbers on the sleeves of the jerseys.... The New Jersey's also have the price tag on them they are $175 American dollars.

The vinyl numbers went away when they released the Prime Green jerseys. Considering Fanatics is using the same materials and keeping the PG logos, I would assume that would be the same with the numbers
@@TheJerseyZone I got confirmation from someone at Team LA store that the Premium and Authentic Pro versions will have all native elements embroidered. Authentic Pro versions will have embroidered letter kits and Premium versions will have heat pressed letter kits. So we should expect the same quality as Adidas with the benefit of being able to order MiC jerseys now. There is also a plan to continue offering the cheap breakaway jerseys. I'm in agreement with you on the comfort of the materials on the breakaway jerseys but the crests and letter kits are terrible. I imagine the details given to me by the Team LA store will apply league wide.
It appears the size tag/Made in Canada tag is heat pressed. If so, that’s terrible.
I didn't think of that but I have seen some people mention it. That could be an issue definitely, especially after a couple washes I would hope they don't fall off
The "new addition" on the MiCs isn't elbow layering, it's double layering right to the bottom of the sleeve where board-burn happens most. This change is directly in response to player-feedback. It's never been done before as a standard manufacturing practice. So yes, it is a NEW thing, and not something "that jerseys have had basically forever".
At the time of recording, all I saw was people mentioning that it was "an extra layer of fabric around the elbows" no mention of it extending further at the time. So far I've only seen Icethetics report that, so if thats true, yes you are correct that would be new.
I like it better without the dimples to be honest, it's a bit cleaner and more cohesive.
I don't know if I fully agree, but I do think they going away is no big deal
I'm a bit relieved to see these pictures of the jerseys I was worried about these Fanatics jerseys look terrible, but I take it as a win, but they look pretty much the same as the Adidas jerseys

I believe they are still being made in Indonesia. From everything that I've heard, they will also be the exact same as the Adidas, just with the small differences that I talked about in this video
If the price is staying the same, which I think it is, then there's no way they are coming from Canada.

That is interesting there was that much trepidation when Adidas took over. I didn't buy jerseys then. So I didn't pay attention to what others thought. But Adidas was a far more reputable company than Fanatics has ever been. So I would have given them the benefit of the doubt.
More often than not team stores didn’t event have MiC’s for adidas. Don’t think the Fanatics MiC’s will feel much different from the adidas ones once we see and feel em in-hand (dimples not withstanding). Same cut as the adidas jerseys, same company in Canada, fans need to relax.
Ya, it's not like the Team Stores always had stock for MiCs. You kinda had to pay attention and wait for them to go on sale
@@TheJerseyZone really wanted to check out the Leafs team store when I was in Toronto, but they were closed for renovations. The Blackhawks do occasionally sell game issued/worn jerseys, but for astronomical prices. Why is it so hard for the slimmer fellas to find a nice MiC blank in size 46 lmaooo
@@jerseyhead.u I'd love one of those as well. I think I've seen one 46 MiC before. I can't quite remember what jersey it was, all I remember was that it was more of a one off for a specialty jersey
@@TheJerseyZone sounds about right. They made some Raiders-themed hockey jerseys, and even had size 48 available (definitely weird to see in this era). They used a white/black adidas MiC jersey with silver trimmings for the base, and just added Raiders patches to the chest and sleeves. Don’t think they ever made it to store shelves because this was around the time of the pandemic, but a bunch ended up on eBay
I’m gonna say this- Fanatics can’t get screen printing centered on their own t shirts. So I’ll never trust them making jerseys/sweaters.
They already messed up the New York Rangers jersey letters in their promotional video that was supposed to sell you how good these are lol.
You know I did not see that picture when recording this video, I will say though, the picture is pretty funny. I'm not sure if its just the angle or if they really did screw it up but it's always hilarious when that happens in promotional videos. Although it's not like Fanatics is the only company this has ever happened to.

I dunno, man. I know I'm not as educated as you are, but I really think these are a noticeable downgrade. Maybe they are lowering the quality on purpose so theirs look better in 2025 by comparison. 🤣
I mean the only "quality" downgrade is the dimples going away, which does give the jerseys a different look for sure. I can see people thinking they look weird and worse because of it, but realistically the quality is the exact same
