Dr Sharon, I just came back here to say a big thank you! I sat for NCLEX yesterday and I found out awhile ago that I passed! Am now a Canadian registered RN!🎉 Thank you Dr Sharon, I could hear your voice yesterday as I did the questions, "use your common sense"! Thank you. Asante sana(thank you in swahili).!
Dr. Sharon thank you so much for your reviews. I am so happy I Passed the PN NCLEX. Your explanations are so great. Common sense, Common sense. God bless you. May you sower like an Eagle as you continue to impact us with knowledge.
Just to clarify-- explaining all procedures is appropriate b/c it is just the RICE that the nurse is doing and operation is not yet indicated for the suspected CS? I know nurses don't explain operations, doctors do, that is why I ask.
I thought we start discharge teaching upon admission, so it would be beneficial to initiate conveying the importance of antibiotic therapy compliance at the time of administration, no?
Hi doc Sharon.. In question number 6, how bout increasing fluid because the patient has fever and in fever there is fluid loss.. Just want ro clarify.. Thanks.

Should not assume fluid loss with fever

There is no way Nclex is supporting exposure to the sun, even if that promotes bone density. 🙄
lol, yes, yes they are. They are not promoting spending hours in the sun with no protection, but exposure to sun is imperative for life.
Q3: F says:Drinking Alcohol in moderation is acceptable. This is false statement doc.
