I find it so refreshing to see a channel that goes back to older projects and essentially say, "Hey, I really could've done this better, so let's do that." So many channels are one and done. Stay down to earth Gingium, it's wonderful.
I first think B is for Build. So many projects and I think only a few are actually considered "completed", however I still really like their content lol.
I have a problem with getting sentimentally attached to my builds which then prevents me from abandoning it. Good in some ways but bad in others. However, the Truck is so cool it deserves a rebuild.
@@Striball Chris builds minimum viable product, claims they're OK because he drove to Disney land. Only ever see them in the background. The ergonomics on the 240 BMW are atrocious.
Might want to tie the sway bar together with a tube/collar over the top of the join? That's a lot of shear to put on one weld which is essentially a super hard non flexible part of a bar that is meant to flex along it's length.
Can't wait to see the Drift Truck get reworked. Just watched TheCraig909's vid on his new exhaust setup on his "RaceTruck". An good X-Pipe would sound so killer on this thing edit: recently been watching all of your content after a couple years, your progress as a mechanic and fabricator is seriously insane. Love the direction of the channel and definitely would love to see you compete in some comps and get more seat time!
X pipe on the drift truck will be extremely raspy due to the 1UZ being overhead cam i have a 14 5.0 and had an X pipe and it sounded like Chewbacca i swapped to an H pipe and it sounds so much better deep and throaty
The drift truck is my favorite vehicle on the channel, so stoked to hear there is more drift truck content coming! maybe one day ill get my b2200 to this level
@@_Gingium_ I except you to be in Sema if you keep this up with these builds. You are highly underrated and you deserve the recognition with these type of builds
Just a tip on your plasma g code setup set your torch height a tick lower maybe .06 and speed up the cut ipm, that will help with the dross an cleaner cuts. Your perice looks good though.
Dude it's actually so awesome to see how high quality all of your builds are now. Like your old builds aren't even bad, maybe a little sketchy here and there but now your fab work is just insane. Cool stuff dude keep it up, love your shit.
Dude those seats hold up very well and yes, starting cars from time to time to keep them alive. Thumbs up, as always! Edit: make one of the spokes on the rear wheels to see some rotation action on camera when recording!
I bought a cheap $50 hydro, a $50 wilwood master, new threaded rod and hyme joint, and some braided line with 4an female on both ends. Bought a 3/8 to 4an and a t union for the rear. All in all $120 into a great hydro. I used my Volvo 240 sedan for drift. Has a cammed, headers, tbss, valve springs, pushrods, lm7 with lc9 pan. RS5R30A manual trans, custom aluminum driveshaft, ford 8.8 with spool. Doesn't make ton of hp like your 240. But 400hp with locked diff and ipd sport springs, torque rods, and bne panhard bar. It does pretty well.
So good to see the Drift Truck hit the road again. It’ll be fun to see what the new modifications will do, and what a complete rebuild will do to the truck.
Just a suggestion, you could if used 7/8 OD tube for the hydro handle & put a lock on handlebar grip at the top for a cleaner look Edit: I commented this before I saw the end product, the hand brake looks like a semi shifter, looks great!
I can't remember if you've ever told us about that hood vent? I'm rewatching some of the episodes of this build and one video you have a flat hood and then the next there's a vent
What happened to the eclipse? Been watching since molly and your vids makes me motivated to the DIYs on my car. Can definitely say you’re my favorite youtuber.
Consistently the best playlist out of any youtuber 👌 Every video sound wise is a banger Seamlessly into working footage. One of the many reasons I love this channel 🤘
Your CNC machine and skills are amazing I like the way you take something and make it your own. You never let nothing stop you or getting in your way.💪🏾💪🏾🔥🔥
I'm curious to see how well the sway bar works. It already looked a bit too beefy for such a light vehicle and then you took out a pretty big chunk, making it even More stiff. And welding a spring doesn't seem like it would work, but who knows?
I don't know what it is, but this truck sounds soooo good, definitely my favorite sounding project of yours. Is it just that large single pipe that comes out the side of the bed? Probably sounds great from the driver’s seat.
I have a beer tap that I've wanted to use for a manual shifter or hydraulic e-brake in a car for a while. Sadly, haven't found the right project for it yet, but I will. One day. Until then it can hang out on my toolbox reminding me to find it a home.
Hi Gingium. Hope you can feature again your design and conversion of the steering from gear box to rack & pinion on your drift truck. Planning to do the same with my Crew Cab. I would really appreciate it if I get a design drawing of what you did. Thank you.
Could drill out the holes where the main pivot is for the ebrake and use bearings to reduce the slop and improve the motion and feel quite a bit also really looking forward to your tube chassis build
You made a shirt advertising the "sleeper," hella smart. It's not a Sleeper if you tell everyone. This is what happens when you hand out trophies for showing up.
New SUB and so far loving your videos. Question... I need to do a swaybar like that on my track car but was wondering about penetration from the weld. What were your settings and has it held up? Thanks.

@@trd8749 Not to mention the bodykit and paint job lol
your progress with the plasma cutter has been so cool to watch
That thing has been such a game changer
It’s just conversational I would like to see him on some g code lol
This going hihi....
I can't get over how amazing this truck sounds. Need some drift truck ASMR asap
Landlord special, hahaha. Amazing work.
Sway bars are spring steel if I'm not mistaken. Welding it makes it mild steel. May break at the weld.
so excited for the return of the drift truck, such a cool build and so unique! i know it can only get better once you get to fabricating!
I keep forgetting how good the drift trucks sounds, That thing just sounds so nice.
I don't even know how to describe it
Tube chassis!? SUPERCHAR.. 😮💨 im so hyped for the drift truck 😁
That hydro looks slick as ice dude. Subtle details>standing out imo
Might want to tie the sway bar together with a tube/collar over the top of the join? That's a lot of shear to put on one weld which is essentially a super hard non flexible part of a bar that is meant to flex along it's length.

Ayyyy a fellow Craig909 viewer. Would be sick for Caleb to do a “track” build with nascar slicks on the drift truck
@@spoollife4470 Right? I feel like the platform would be a ripper too. It’s already really light
Absolutely! That x pipe setup would sound soooo sick. Love Craig's content aswell! Seem like a cool dude.

But the UZ already sounds perfect as is. It sounds so fucking good
The drift truck is how I found your channel. It is always going to be my favorite build of yours. Glad to see it coming back in a big way.
I still think this is the best sounding vehicle you’ve owned
Never seen a sway bar welded as the twist by design
Keeping an eye on that
Great content 👌
You're gonna snap the weld on that swaybar eventually. Can't weld spring steel.
Keen for the drift truck v2 build!
Thankyou SimplySafe for supporting my boiii!
LOL Landlord special
lookin good homie!
Dawg I’ve been watching since the focus day and its still crazy to see how much the channel has evolved to what it is now
I been here since the forza built vs bought and the Subaru days. Brings a tear to my eyes
this the best built uve eva done so far....my opinon..bring more content on this truck
That v8 sounds oh soo good
The drift truck is my favorite vehicle on the channel, so stoked to hear there is more drift truck content coming! maybe one day ill get my b2200 to this level
Man I love this truck
Just wait for V2
My favorite built of any RUclipsr
I get goosebumps every time I see you using a vise… That’s bolted down… That truck is sck by the way
I would be concerned about welding that sway bar, once heated won't the steel loose it's springy properties?
Can't wait for the supercharger, are you going to run a centrifugal supercharger or just a twin screw/roots supercharger?
not 100% sure yet, but leaning towards twin screw/roots for that wineeeeee

Quick tip:
Filling a pipe with sand and bending it prevents kinking. Sand doesn’t compress that much.
Sounds messy, but smart

The hydro handle looks miles better that the dnd one 👌🏻
I can't believe the amount of progress you've made since I started watching, back before the subaru hatchback was sold. Keep up the good work!
6:40 look better now then before for me, more diy industrial vibe less cheap jdm drift boyz vibe
The landlord special got me good 😂
😂😂
Dude those seats hold up very well and yes, starting cars from time to time to keep them alive. Thumbs up, as always!

Honestly, I love this truck you've built.
In my opinion, your hydrohandle looks way better then the original one!
I really love drift truck. It will be cool to se it get updated. 👍
Your killin it with the new shop, better equipment, better tools, and good vibes! Keep moving forward
Best sounding exhaust of most/any v8 car

Ooooo-wee cant wait for this jawn to be a double certified ripper this winter!
Yesssssir! Mee to!
Can we talk about how Ging just completely out drifted that beamer so casually? The drift truck looks mean and ready for more power!
Super rad. I love the style of your builds. Turning older quirky cars into ultimate machines. You should give us an update on the miatas sometime.

your videos are just beautiful

little tip push your suspension up and then tighten the sway bar
Looks so clean and cool! Cant wait for more projects, love your content ❤️
I Love how he custom fabricates averything, and its to perfection as well.Keep up the great work Gingium!!
This dude has really stepped up his game-- I remember the very first video, working in a small garage with his Dad, and now in his own epic shop.
Yeeeeeeeesssss. Finally!
Excited to see more work on the truck this is wat originally brought me to ur channel
The hand brake looks so nice with a shift knob, it just looks so factory like a 4wd shifter 😆
Heck yeah brother love the drift truck.
Love the edit in this vid. It's getting better every vid, but this one hits best for me. Exited for the Volvo vids, love your content Caleb
Forza gingium!!!!
New car you say? Nice
I'm opening the bets on whether or not the sway bar weld will snap
I feel like you should build ur truck like Ryan tucks one 👌🏾
I love the new editing you've been doing man i always enjoy watching your videos but like the intros man make it so much better
love me some dt content, fav build 🔥
love to see it rip again! and that 1UZ sound is the best 👌

Great work for such a cool truck!
It would be cool if cameraman curt (kurt?) cranked the exposure down for some of the plasma cutter shots so we can see it cutting
The sentinel hood is back in operation I see
lol the ups guy
you should feature em

Definitely needs some red seat belts! Maybe not a full harness but something a bit more beefy! Man I've missed this epic build! 🥵🔥
You gotta take a car to a Cleetus event someday
Gingium was able to build this in a cave! With a box of scraps!
New SUB and so far loving your videos. Question... I need to do a swaybar like that on my track car but was wondering about penetration from the weld. What were your settings and has it held up? Thanks.
Another banger of an episode
I miss the intros where we had to find you. Would be much harder now with your new work shop
Transmission V2 should be a faceplated T56 magnum close ratio! But you'll probably want to regear your diff to 4.10-4.56 after getting that.
