I had to give this another listen after Adriel said on the latest show that he’s still spinning it. I’m liking it more with additional exposure. I’ll be checking it out a few more times.
And that English Teacher just gets better and better. They definitely seem to “shine” more live so I strongly suggest checking out some of the live, in-studio sessions they’ve been doing the last few months for the record release.

This is one of Cole's works that have aged well, and I think will continue to age well in the future. This album was almost lost in the shuffle of the Big 3 beef that people cared more about 7 minute drill than anything else.

    - I listened to this a few times. It’s ok. Nothing stood out for me. I wouldn’t put it on, but if someone else did, I wouldn’t ask them to turn it off.
    - Yeah, the apology thing is strange, but honestly, diss tracks are silly. It’s like WWE. It’s soap opera level drama. But maybe that’s ok because I still kinda love soap operas🥸
    - Album this week: English Teacher “This Could Be Texas”
    - Good commentary on getting the trans lyrics out. I’d like to see all the toxic masculinity crap be banished. Want to diss someone? Call them a politician or a lawyer🥸
