I once had a special someone, I loved this someone with all my heart. She was genuine, she was pure, she was probably the only one who was like a second home to me. 3 months ago everything changed, got in an argument and I gave her up. More and more regret comes day by day and its killing me the way I have to hold everything in. "Grow up" , "Move on". I can't do that, I miss her like crazy, then finding out only a few days ago that she moved on...completely shattered. Finding this song has helped me let it all out but there is still more to let out, that's how good life is right now.

But I trust in the lord & the path he has chosen for me.

Back in august, the girl i had been talking to exchanged her feelings with me. It was going good for a bit but i started getting too attached too fast. She had never been in a relationship before, so she wanted to take things slow before anything was official between us. I tried my hardest to not rush things and give her the time she needed, but i failed at that. I made the worst mistake by saying "i love you" to her and we never even dated. She told me near the end of august that she needed space because of how many emotions she had and all the unfamiliar struggles she had going on in her life, so i abliged. Months kept passing with the occasional "i still have feelings for you" from me and the "i do for you too but we need to just be friends" from her. I entually pushed it too far in november and beat the dead horse. I see her a lot at work and we will keep things professional there and talk, but outside of work, i havent talked to her in nearly 4 months.
In my opinion if she really wanted a relationship too, she wouldn't find excuses. Take your time, but try to move on. It's hard, I know, I'm trying to do it myself too, but it's necessary
