Mark, just so you know. The reason the monster opened the cabinet door you were hiding in is because you sprinted for it. The monster's AI checks places it heard noise come from, and since you were making a full dash for the cabinet, it assumed you hid inside it because of the noise you were making when you ran. When going to hide somewhere, stop sprinting when you get relatively close to the hiding spot, and make sure you're not visible from where the monster patrols. If a light is shining by a bed for instance, it will be able to see you underneath the bed.
Well what’s also funny is that he even makes noise while the monster is around and also leaves blood trails by trying to out run the rats 😂 like cranking his flashlight while the monster is there, probably without hiding as well
I mean, i don't think thats true, ill be real, he was BLEEDING, he only used a basic med and it didn't full heal, he was still leaving a trail. Thats what i think anyway.
I was waiting for that to happen xD actually surprised the monster didn't break the closet instead like he usually does (knocking you down but giving you a chance), but honestly it fit so much better in this scenario

Yep, however my ADHD does not. The longer the video the more breaks I take, I don't like livestreams, because they're live. I made an exception for UA's 12 hour livestream because it only happened once and in my time zone it went from 8 pm to 8 am so there was no daytime stuff (work, food, my dog etc) that I'd have to do however I didn't get any sleep

It's really impressive that Mark somehow stayed alive after about 3 hours of: -wasting bullets and never using bricks -grenade every single door -revving the flashlight and making noise next to an occupied hole -revving the flashlight in general without reason over 3 times -making noise when the monster is out -wasting fuel willy nilly -getting cornered on his own -running past occupied holes -wasting space by carrying items he cant use or needs -forgetting for over 2 hours of gameplay that there's crafting in the game -walking around with an empty gun despite having bullets
Technically you almost always want to sprint in a horror game, but some moments he chooses aren't the best. Also he sprints and it's fine a lot of the time.

They make you faster than the monster so you can escape, but, in doing so, means you can sprint everywhere if the monster is behind you. Or they need to have a loud 10 second animation to notify you of where the monster is coming from, but 10 seconds is enough to sprint to a completely new place

They'll have it limited, it only gives u enough time to hide cause eventually they'll catch up, or in the panic you'll screw yourself over and get into a worse spot blindly running (this happened badly to me playing outlast 1 and dying light). If you ever played the evil within (markiplier played both games) sprinting feels like hell cause sebastian runs only a couple seconds before getting out of breath.

In the original he also showed up randomly unlike the scripted Nemesis in the remake. I think the Xenomorph in Alien Isolation follows a similar line of logic (minus the rocket launcher).

The narrative timing of his generator running out just as he's leaving so he has to make the whole trip back through the main hub area in the dark was peak timing. I'm hoping he gets around to using all those locker codes. I'm sure there's a lot of stuff he can utilize in them, probably some quest items too. All the lockers are presumably in one room (I've not played the game, I just assume so), so he's just overlooking them, though it *WOULD* be easier if he'd go to the locker room with the *LIGHTS ON!*

I made an exception for UA's 12 hour livestream because it only happened once and in my time zone it went from 8 pm to 8 am so there was no daytime stuff (work, food, my dog etc) that I'd have to do however I didn't get any sleep

It's really impressive that Mark somehow stayed alive after about 3 hours of:
-wasting bullets and never using bricks
-grenade every single door
-revving the flashlight and making noise next to an occupied hole
-revving the flashlight in general without reason over 3 times
-making noise when the monster is out
-wasting fuel willy nilly
-getting cornered on his own
-running past occupied holes
-wasting space by carrying items he cant use or needs
-forgetting for over 2 hours of gameplay that there's crafting in the game
-walking around with an empty gun despite having bullets

Mark when he realizes sprinting in horror games isn’t smart will be unstoppable
Technically you almost always want to sprint in a horror game, but some moments he chooses aren't the best. Also he sprints and it's fine a lot of the time.

They make you faster than the monster so you can escape, but, in doing so, means you can sprint everywhere if the monster is behind you. Or they need to have a loud 10 second animation to notify you of where the monster is coming from, but 10 seconds is enough to sprint to a completely new place

They'll have it limited, it only gives u enough time to hide cause eventually they'll catch up, or in the panic you'll screw yourself over and get into a worse spot blindly running (this happened badly to me playing outlast 1 and dying light). If you ever played the evil within (markiplier played both games) sprinting feels like hell cause sebastian runs only a couple seconds before getting out of breath.
@@thegeneralgamer4921 Then you have Nemesis in the original RE3: faster than you, could instantly kill you if he grabbed you, and sometimes he carried a rocket launcher. In the original he also showed up randomly unlike the scripted Nemesis in the remake.
I think the Xenomorph in Alien Isolation follows a similar line of logic (minus the rocket launcher).
Markiplier's gameplay in a nutshell:
*Sets off every wire imaginable*

the SCREAM at 4:48 is genuinely one of the most primal yells iv heard from mark in a WHILE, without any video you would imagine his arm being sawed off.

Mark, items on the ground don't despawn. You can literally just store all your fuel on the ground by the generator.

The narrative timing of his generator running out just as he's leaving so he has to make the whole trip back through the main hub area in the dark was peak timing. I'm hoping he gets around to using all those locker codes. I'm sure there's a lot of stuff he can utilize in them, probably some quest items too. All the lockers are presumably in one room (I've not played the game, I just assume so), so he's just overlooking them, though it *WOULD* be easier if he'd go to the locker room with the *LIGHTS ON!*
You can use the gas grenades you collected to kill the rats. P.S you can use bricks laying around to break locks and doors instead of grenades.

@christopheryao3417 Not everyone knows all the game mechanics as soon as they open the game, especially if they go in blind. And that's the beauty of these types of games. Everyone can go about things in a different way and still make it, some with more scars than others.

@@cerealdigyou just left click, as a grenade. Marks simply point the torch, which surprisingly still works, but you could "wave" it as next action giving it more "AOE effect"

Lambert was unlucky enough that the war impacted his transformation to such a degree that he is even more of an abomination than what the water would normally have done to him
