I saw this video originally like 10 years ago and I first saw Windowlicker like 10 years before that. So that's 20 solid years of me waiting patiently for a Cunningham movie.
Just watch Hannibal, the series, a piece of art, seriously, such a underrated series.
What a brilliant piece of audio/visual work. I've been captivated by Cunningham's work ever since I bought his Director's Label DVD when I was a teen. He knows how to capture a certain darkness that permeates all of our lives.
This whole album is a masterpiece. Long live Gil Scott-Heron. The visuals by Chris Cunningham just elevate it even further!

If our pc has 2 video connectors (is where the monitor cable goes in), you can use 2 separate screens (in Windows)

I like the Jamie XX version, I like the Chris Cunningham Remix and I sure as hell need to check out the album. I'm usually not into soul and that stuff, but that sound cuts deep man!
Wow. I just listened to the album when I got a like because of my comment one week ago. Discogs says this is soul, but it is definitly not. Very interesting use of electronica and nice little stories. So far Gil sounds fresh. All under the hood of XL Records. I knew that label only for Prodigy and early 90s rave releases.
