that is actually what the whole concept is about. *if* everyone on that car keeps their limbs inside and carries no food with them, then the lion wouldn't see a human but just one large, unnatural object which makes loud noises and smells bad and the passengers are safe. the word _if_ does a lot of heavy lifting here...

The fact that she knocked first makes me think she's a homecare worker visiting a patient.
I thought of that, but she appears to be trying to unlock the door by presenting a fob to a reader, and I never saw a house with one. But, I guess if the patient lives alone and is confined to the bed it would make sense to have one.

While I wholeheartedly agree with your message - I always kept my dog away from mailmen, despite her being the kindest dog ever who would only wag her tail and greet them, as people can be scared of dogs period - I must say I believe quite a few people would care about a dog saying "he ain't gonna bite".
@@CocoWantsACracker But the problem is, so many people say “he ain’t gonna bite”, and then their dog bites. No one believes you when a dog is growling, barking and charging. Just keep your dog away, and save people some anxiety (as it sounds like you have done)

Still don't understand why those big gas powered drills don't have a hold down throttle that cuts off when you let go.
Because then we wouldn't get funny videos.
I'm going to take a wild guess and say that its because a hold down throttle will require you to grip the drill tightly, Which is not a good thing while using tools with a lot of vibrations as it can cause HAVS - Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome, Which can be quite serious. It's recommended not to grip these kind of tools too tightly. There are also recommended guidelines for hourly and daily exposure to vibrations cause by these types of tools

hmm.. If I recall my own use of a jackhammer correctly - it's been a few years - they do have a bysicle-break-like handle to turn them on. And I would expect a jackhammer to cause a lot more vibrations than an augr.
Plus, if you have a device designed to create torque, holding it firmly is imho needed.
I would guess that such a device does indeed exist, but some workers disable it for convenience.
Actually many of them have a cut-off string you're supposed to have on your wrist to prevent this. But if you don't wear it, well...
Most do but the workers are lazy and tape them down.

If anyone's wondering about 10:44 the only thing that "failed" was the roof over this guy's head. The tool in hand fell from the top of that structure through said roof, creating the hole... *and it still works!*

Yes, and failarmy is one of the worst culprits. I've seen videos that used to be clear censored to high heaven in newer uploads, T-shirts, photographs, you name in, they blur it - it is truly pathetic. They are acing as if they actually believe that these big corporations are going to watch these videos with a mind to sue.

I mean on some level they do, but their predatory instinct treats the whole car as one big beast. If you get out of the car and are on your own, well now that's trouble.

I used to work at Coke, and we had to do this a few times. If a tower is unstable, it's a huge risk. Each pallet is 400 2L bottles, and coke weighs about 1.1kg/liter, making each pallet around 900kg. Towers go 3 high, with the crown layer being a single, while the floor and mid layers can be double wide. A single tower can have as much as 4500kg of mass.
