Deora 1 : Every one loved it because it is a new casting ! Deora 2 : Again it is a new design that poeple will enjoy ! Deora 3 : ............Logic ? ........
Not a fan of the new Deora III I'm afraid. As a few people mentioned in the comments, the lack of a windshield is a problem - how are the passengers going to stay dry and sheltered if the weather changes LOL? I see the general shape of the Deora I & II in it, but it's not a casting I would purchase for my collection. Probably deserved a different name as also suggested by others.
Hey, Mark, did you know that back in '03, you could find a Treasure Hunt Version of Deora I? I just got a copy this year, and it's the first time that I've seen that version, at all, plus, this month marks my 21st Anniversary as a Hot Wheels Collector, and my total currently stands at 2,497 Models. Oh, and I love the looks of the new Deora III, and as far as Moto Wing is concerned, the part that you called a surfboard, is actually a fin to keep the vehicle stable, and to make it look like a fighter plane.
The Deora III looks kinda strange imo. It is a busy casting with the twin surfboards and the bike, yet it looks so different from the previous two Deoras. Deora II still remains my favorite of the 3. I'll probably get one Deora 3 for the collection and that's it.
Deora 3 looks appropriate for the modern era. It went back to the sloppy front end. Convenient side molding for your electric bike. One surfboard is longer than the other one I believe. Most surfers don't carry two of the exact length anyway. No fins on the boards is more of an interesting omission. The Moto Wing is a cyberpunk mashup of a fighter plane and a motorcycle. It has a wing for high speed stability. That's not a surfboard FYI. Deora has gone green.
Thumbs up for your vid, Mark. Besides the cab forward design, very little is reminiscent of the Deora name. Will the Deora III share infamy with the Twin Mill II? Time will tell, but I say the future of the Deora III is doomed.
Hi Mark, I really enjoyed seeing the old Debora. I’m like you they should keep the surf boards. Also like you unsure if they should have called the Deora III and Deora. I do like it I question the name. Keep up the good work.
I really love the deora 1&2, and have picked up every one ive seen in stores or flea markets pretty much because I've just loved to collect as many variants of that specific car as possible. Deora 3 is obviously a lot different, and it's slightly disappointing, but still interesting and a car that I may come to appreciate more as time goes on because of the connection. Still not super stoked that it bears very little resemblance, but it can definitely be a cool car for the right guy honestly. Still on the fence myself though lol
Its not that I don't like the Deora III. I just think its a disservice to the original design. And the fact its electric. Cmon i want my deora sounding big and beefy XD
My all time favorite model is the vulture! Not the vulture roadster! I buy all of them I find. I even have an old treasure hunt version from years ago. I only buy the cars I like though, not every model. I also love the hyper liner model. Not everybody liked it back then around here, so I was able to pick up extras. 1995 power rocket was one of my early favorites. I liked it because it reminded me of a purple batmobile. I think I found a super chrome version a few months ago, awesome model in chrome! I want to see the vulture in the super chrome series please!
Yeah I saw a fan-made Deora 3 that just placed a windshield and 2 proper surfboards on the back - it was shoddy work and quick looking, but it made it 10 times better. I mean if it was electric it looks more like Deora then with no engine showing (which I think would've been fine) but the Bike is just... unnecessary and doesn't make much sense. I understand it's aimed at Millenials but so was Deora 2 and basically I'm gen Z which means I grew up on the Deora 2 as being The Hotwheel, knowing that the Deora name was used so poorly with this design is very frustrating. I mean if they want to impress me so I would buy it, then go back a little to better design, Hotwheels really likes the electric car now, which is fine, but don't brand their older IPs on it just to make it sell if it's not w worthwhile design.
Hello. the electric propulsion is very current in 2020. Deora 3 is a beautiful model although I do not like the surfboard moulded with the interior. I prefer not fixed boards even if we can lose them. In your description you forgot the tooned deora (2004-2005) which is splendid. Have a good day
Hey, thanks for watching! The info in the description is only for models shown in the video. Yes, there is a Tooned Deora. There are also large 1:18 scale versions, micro (Atomix) and a 100% Cool Collectibles version. Plus a few plastic toys versions as well =)
well im not a fan but the deora and deora 2 is what i started with from the early times so i guess kids now days will have the deora 111 but ill stick to the deora and deora 2
If there's someone that can make a snap on windshield for this car I would be happy to try it out. I have odd thoughts about this car but I can honestly say it carries the deora name. 1. Carries the front driver seat, 2. It's a beach vehicle, 3. It could be a convertible version!
nice history lesson I have a deora it's a rose red almost burgundy color. I think is a two. it has H.W. 33 on top of the cab. I got it second hand no surf boards but it does have the slots in the rear glass to receive the boards. thanks for the history lesson oh I do not like the new one it just doesn't appeal to me.
The moto wing doesn't have a surf board. It says it has a wing for high speed stability in the description. The Deora III is an interesting design but I haven't decided if I like it in the Deora family yet. Sometimes those things have to grow on you.
I grew up with highway 35 and Acceleracers, I find the new deora III a disservice to not only the deora II but to the car the the deora II was baised off of!
Just new ways to make money, remaking old models. Sometimes it works, like with Twin Mill III and Deora II. Other times it does not like the Deora III, Highway Hauler 2, and the Rodger Dodger 2.0. If anything, the Fast Fish makes a better Rodger Dodger 2.0, it actually looks like it could be a second gen version.
The first one I think it’s cool because it’s a dodge concept, ll I think is pretty cool but I prefer the first one, lll, I might get it but I’ll have to see it in person to actually say something about it, thanks for the video!
Im not sure about the Deora III Since they replace it with a electric engine I want to see what would it look like with the deora II engine and the windshield
If they change the casting down the road it would be worthy. Since the bike is a separate piece they could just have another set of surfboards molded in its place. That would free up a part to have the windshield and still be at the 6 part rule. Should have had a blown out electric motor though!
Deora 1: The Dodge Deora. And it was beautiful. People really like it! Deora 2: THE PRODIGAL SON. HE HAS BEEN BLESSED. Deora 3: Father? We have sinned. Take us back. And destroy this unholy monstrosity
I can see why some people like it but it’s not for me. I have both 1 and 2 and I like both but I’m probably not gonna get 3. Design kinda strayed away from the original too much and don’t really care for it being electric.
Just because the car has surfboards doesn't mean it's a deora descendant. Personally, deora II looks the best. More specifically, the first editions and star spangled series versions look the best to me.
I don't really hate the deora 3 design but i think the Night Burner design fits it better. Either way, imma try and get 2 or 3 of those so i can modify the one and "fix" the parts I don't like
That description of deora 3 on the package is honestly insulting to the deora lineage. However, the description doesn't kill my hype for this mold. But the lack of a windshield and "dual" surfboards does. I might still buy it, just as a little footnote of what _not_ to do when adding to a legacy.
I'm very biggest fan of Deora it's ok to me without a SurfBoard or there include when I see i wanted to buy important I'm been choosing DEORA that Day but when the Mattel announced a new version of Deora I'm been excited when I see it I'm stop for a while I have no idea what to say and I have no words for that Deora it's ok for me when Deora three have windshield i rather to collect it maybe I don't know if I going to buy it done BTW I have now a New Deora one but it's a Tooned car with moving Surfboard it's cool
I found the Deora III in a store, that's why I was able to do this review. I do have the USA J HW case but since I was actually getting paid to do a video for Micro Wheels, that was first priority. I'm uploading Track Time tonight and publishing this weekend. That was a higher priority for me as well. Now that those are done, I can work on the 2019 J case for this weekend.

I have never been so disappointed by a Hot Wheels car.
It would be better if Mattel had modified the Nightburner, because it resembles the exotic design of the Deora.
I always thought of night burner as a futuristic design of the deora series.
This Deora looks a bit like the Pocket Bikester for me.
@@simonegironacci2025 So would pocket bikester be Deora 2.5?
Night Burner should've been Deora III

Looks incomplete, should not have carried on the Deora name.
I still remember watching Hot wheels world race Highway 35 when it came out. I still have my silver deora II to this day.
Personally, Night Burner makes up as a better successor.
Night Burner, yes. It’s like Deora meets Whip Creamer.
Yes, Night Burner is much more like Deora II than Deora III
The HW 35 Wave Rippers Deora 2 is and will always be my all-time favorite Deora thanks to that gorgeous blue paintjob.
Deora 2 is my favorite casting. My first Deora 2 was in that snake decal filled f pack that was purple and said cold blooded
