The spurs “Tree” of players and coaches is one of the most impactful and influential in all sports, so many players turned coaches, or players that were grown in the system that changed NBA history
It’s true- modern basketball is all descended from their “dna” . Interestingly not the lakers or Miami or other so called dynasties but their culture and systems are what gms and coaches know were special
@ absolutely, not even to mention the millions and millions and millions of dollars Pop and the spurs have helped players get through development before they move on. Once a spur always a spur
Derrick White definitely matches Manu's hustle and all around game. Derrick was already like that all along but I'm guessing spacing and studying the opposition habits to take advantage of would be things he might pick up from Ginobili. Ginobili is a Top 20 Best Basketball Player of all time. Fans forget that by the time Ginobili comes to the NBA as a rookie, he's a 27 year old guy with a bald spot who's won everything in South America, Europe and World Games championships out there. THEN he comes to San Antonio to add multiple championships in the NBA. Probably nobody else will ever match his winning impact everywhere he went. It rubbed off on Derrick, who was already a kindred spirit no doubt. 2 nice guys who are fan and teammate favorites.
Derrick White is such an incredible player. Not only what he does offensively for the Cs, but his defensive effort and courage is unmatched. With such great amazing defensive players on the Cs, to me he stands out the most.
if you watch d white, he always realizes a breakdown in c's defense (usually someone else's) and makes an attempt to recover, even if he's a step late in his contest--sometimes he gets there and it's a highlight block.
Funny how I was looking forward to JJ eventually interviewing D White on here cause he talked about how much he loved his game for forever… guess that’s not happening any time soon now haha
@ i’m a celtics fan. he’s fantastic. he doesn’t move the ball with the clock running down and he always takes bad step back threes. it’s been a problem since brad was the coach
Pod isn’t watchable anymore without JJ. It’s one dumb question after another… How do you have basketball instincts? He plays basketball. Wow you guarded Dame and Giannis on the same possession? Yeah. He switched…
Thanks for watching. Full ep here: ruclips.net/video/rN9GsOMvdjw/видео.html

Throw the stats out, Manu is one of the best 2 guards in NbA history, he just valued winning instead of stats. Man was an absolute demon
His stats are nuts though. Maybe not counting stats but if you look a little deeper
not a Demon.....a God!

Miss d white In SA 😢 glad my boy got that ring 🙏
This makes so much sense. Derrick White and Manu’s off-ball offensive movement and defensive tendencies are so much alike.
Derrick White definitely matches Manu's hustle and all around game. Derrick was already like that all along but I'm guessing spacing and studying the opposition habits to take advantage of would be things he might pick up from Ginobili.

Top 20 best basketball player of all time is CAP!
Top 20 😂😂😂 I almost spit my drink 😂😂😂
He had a good head of hair his first 2 championships with the Spurs
Manu was 25 when he arrived to the league in the 02-03 season
Derrick White is such an incredible player. Not only what he does offensively for the Cs, but his defensive effort and courage is unmatched. With such great amazing defensive players on the Cs, to me he stands out the most.
My fav. Celtics. Clutch AF
We miss him in San antonio but proud to see him flourish
This dude is so authentic and legit. Big fan of him as a player and bigger fan of him as a person!
MANUUU GINOOOBILIIII
Go Spurs Go!
The Legend Himself Manu of Argentina 🇦🇷 Basketball 2004 NBA Champ Olympic Champ National Hero 🎖️
What casual fans don't know is how big San Antonio Spurs impacted today's NBA team plays, just research how big Pop's coaching tree!
If Derrick White is at least Temu Manu, then that is something!
MAAAAAAANUUUUUUUUU- WE NEED MORE GINOBILI CONTENT
MANU GINOOOOOOOBILIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII 🇦🇷 🇦🇷
Yes,derrick has that Manu sauce.

What a player he has become. Would like him to retire in San Antonio.
Whites flopping skills are underated too hehe,Manu influence there for sure❤
Funny how I was looking forward to JJ eventually interviewing D White on here cause he talked about how much he loved his game for forever… guess that’s not happening any time soon now haha
JJ did an episode with D White. January 5th of this year. Enjoy.
Most slept on SUPERSTAR of all time
Omg Derrick white my king
Derrick white is the truth
When this guy lands an NBA coaching gig, they should have Mark Callaway take over as podcast host 😉
Manu would’ve been a perennial allstar if he wasn’t on spurs…dudes the most underrated of all time
He made all star team but yes he could have started anywhere else in the league
Grandpa Juice!
Why d white doing a interview with Tom hanks from Philadelphia
Lmao this is hilarious
Ginobli!!!!!!!!!
Manuuuuuu
Can we give a shutout to the Spurs who trade valuable players to contenders, ala Derrick Kawhi and Danny G
Then you got dejounte murray just hating on the experience lol
Bc Murray isn't mature like most Spurs players. He complains too much and thinks he's entitled.
Manu also helped out Dejounte Murray. He is a real one unlike Tony Parker
Sorry to say, but need a better host, presentation of questions, better presence/character. Definitely not the same without JJ…
1:05 say it louder so JT can hear you
28-7-4 on 45% with a championship & 3 All-NBA first teams since 2020 btw
@ i’m a celtics fan. he’s fantastic. he doesn’t move the ball with the clock running down and he always takes bad step back threes. it’s been a problem since brad was the coach
@Sticktothemodels There's a reason he didnt play during the Olympics at all.
@@SticktothemodelsHe doesn't pass the ball
Here comes the gang of casuals who don't pay attention to NBA discussions calling Manu underrated.
very spUrsy guy.. he is humble like Manu and Danny... my Favorite player of all time is Manu and next to him is DWhite.. but I always be a spUrs.
Totally forgot White had hair and a job at the spurs
Basically forgot everything about him before the Celtics...
@ yep shows how forgettable the spurs run was, cool to see that he took off after
He was never apart of a Spurs run. He says in the interview that he played with Manu in his final year at age 40.
@@CeeDubyaa dejounte purgatory loool
@@RedDenimso basically you have no clue, you thought he played with Duncan & Kawhi😭
Why’s he talking like he’s shy or scared. Go into detail about what u mean. Ur a NBA player. Also say it with ur chest like you mean it…
