John sings/plays "As If We Never Said Goodbye" (from "Sunset Boulevard")

I've been feeling VERY lost, broken, & worthless as a musician/performer for the last long while. 😫 I really want to musically rebound & make a comeback. ❤️‍🩹 So to kick things off, here's a video of me singing/playing a "comeback anthem" this evening! 🎥
This is the hauntingly beautiful song "As If We Never Said Goodbye," sung by the character of Norma Desmond in Andrew Lloyd Webber's 1994 Broadway musical "Sunset Boulevard." 🎭 I realize Norma is narcissistic, delusional, & homicidal in the musical (& the 1950 movie), so just know that I'm not channeling those 3 qualities by recording this song. 😜
I've performed this lovely piano arrangement (from Phillip Keveren's "Andrew Lloyd Webber: 18 Contemporary Theatre Classics" piano solo compilation) as background music at many venues since my teens. 🎹
