I have never heard a more gifted musician in my life. But his songs are never recorded properly. One more problem. when his singing is taking us into the world of ecstacy, he rudely brings us back to the earth, by his repeated conversation. If he simply sang continuously with tabla and harmonium effect in limited way, who can beat him? none at all. No Gulam Ali, NO Mehdi Hassan, No Fateh Ali ,No one. But these two two defects have deprived music lovers of his legendary talent. Very sad.
@@saaherali3387 I can understand but there is lot of harqat and roohdaari isliye apko lag raha hai kyuki rooh daari me taal jyada matter nahi karti at end jab gaane ki sthaai ka sam dikhana chahiye bus classical music me kahi bhi ghoomo par at the end jab bol par aao to sam dikhna chahiye...

Tabla master is outclass but mazirat to him he is not doing justice to the pitch of his tabla which could sound more softer than harsher as he played. its striking the ears more harshly than the soft voice of Ustad Mehdi. the ghazal is outclass,
Irshad Mehdi has a very good voice but in this video tabla is very loud and annoying, and spoiled the taste of hearing this ghazal. The mic is also far from singer. Recording quality 👎
