We unpacked everything from our U-haul and took it up to our college dorm on the FOURTH floor! We were greeted by a CREEPY critter when we first walked in our new room. 🙈 One of our keys gets thrown away, so ASA has to go DUMPSTER DIVING to find it! Thanks for being such a trooper, Asa! 😂

It took us hours to move everything in and clean! By the end of the day, our feet HURT so badly! We knew after a long day like this, there was only one thing that we wanted… PIZOOKIES! 😍
Moving in was super chaotic, but we did it with the help of our family! Now we’re officially on our own and back to school! 😳 Saying goodbye to our parents was VERY emotional, but of course, our Dad lightened the mood with a classic dad joke. 😂 We’re going to miss them so much, but we’re so excited for this new adventure at Baylor!

Omg... That room is massive! Freshman and sophomore year when I still lived in dorms, my dorm was a literal shoebox and I shared a bathroom with like ten other girls😂😂. Living in an apartment with the person of your choice is much better😂

Mia most people at Baylor are in a one room dorm with either a shared bathroom with the room next dorm or one bathroom for the whole hall. I had the community bathroom. But some of the dorms offer these apartment style “dorms” but they’re really expensive and Baylor already costs your whole life 😂 but i mean they got the money so..

When your freshmen dorm apartment is bigger than what my senior year apartment was. Haha and don't even get me started on how tiny dorm was freshmen year! Literally my room for me and my roommate was smaller than the bedroom y'all have!

kittykat27 I just graduated from Baylor; the dorms the moved in are not for freshman unless they are in a specific upper level program or very important people. They are getting special treatment because of who they are the freshman dorms are what you would think of when you think of college lol
Ashley Clore I thought it was weird they had an apartment as freshman.
The college I went to actually has the same type of dorms, ALL the dorms in my college are apartment style so from my freshmen through senior year I never really lived in the regular dorm type set up with shared communal bathrooms. For my college it looks really similar to their apartment you have a generally standard "dorm" bedroom and then you have the space of an apartment with a living room kitchen and bathroom and other apartment mates rooms. It becoming more common for colleges to have these set ups. There are some downsides though, you miss out on that dorm floor community of freshmen year where people leave their door open, and walk by and talk, you also have to clean your own bathroom, kitchen and living room, which as someone who was an RA, cleaning a bathroom and kitchen is a BIG roommate issue especially for freshmen.

Actually, they're not all for special people or for upper levels. If I'm not mistaken, they're living in the fine arts LLC (where I lived as a freshman and sophomore) and if you're willing to pay for it you can live there.
