I used to wake up at 5:15 to get ready and get my 6:50 bus to my 8:30 classes on freshman year... then I gave up and started waking up at 5:50 (time to take a shower, eat and run for the bus)
1:30am is when college students start going to bed? Oh, Brooklyn, honey. Excuse me while I go laugh all the way to 4am crying about homework and exams lol (this is coming from a senior in college btw)
I can't wait for the first finals week vlog. My freshman year in college on the last day of finals week I started studying at 7:00 pm, ordered pizza at 2:00 am, fell asleep at 5:30 am, woke up at 6:30am, studied for another 30 minutes and then proceed to take an 8:00am and 11:00am final. Somehow I survived.
galaxy andromeda college is full of guys only interested in that one thing. But I got a good one. Same guy since freshman year of college (I just graduated. It will be 3 years in February). You have to be so careful in college.
My first year of college was a lot like theirs so idk why everyone is saying this isn’t realistic. Like some of us really do wake up early, put in effort into how we look, and don’t procrastinate so horribly. The only thing I couldn’t relate to was staying up late because I prioritized sleep.
You probably won't see this, but in case you do; please realise that you have a very big social life compared to most people. This means that not every fresher is having this much fun or immediately connects with the right people during the first few weeks. I, myself, am in my final year of college and only felt like I truly belonged to a good friendgroup at the start of the second year. So also for those of you who are watching this and are feeling like you do not (yet) have this many friends: that is okay. You are okay. Sometimes it takes time to settle. And maybe you are in a friendgroup now but you will be in a different one in a few months and that is all okay. Just stay open-minded and don't be too hard on yourself. Good luck, you can do this!
I'm in my final year as well and finding my friend group never happened for me unfortunately, and I really don't want people thinking it should happen right away either

To everyone who is saying that the twins are saying “this is the college kid life” too much (or something along those lines), try to understand that there’s a lot of smaller clips taken at different times. To them, it might seem like they’ve only said the phrase a few times (in each clip), but to us, when we watched the whole video, the phrases added up to a lot. You guys also have to understand they can’t just cut that part out or they’d be losing a larger portion of the video. They say the phrases in the middle of a lot of stuff where it can’t be cut out.
Guys stop hating on Brooklyn and Bailey they try there hardest to make you guys happy and the are probably really excited to make this vid so what if there different then others that a good thing
No one is hating, some people just prefer a more accurate representation of college. They can enjoy their college experience all they want, but pushing a false narrative of college life can be harmful to others.

One day at college the fire alarm went off at 11am and we just sat there working away. Then someone said it’s not Wednesday, (fire alarm test day) so it was only then after couple mins we left the class 🤣 🔥
Don’t feel bad if your college experience isn’t feeling like this right away. It will eventually, but sometimes people take longer to adjust and make friends. Just a thought to put out there.
I understand that they are freshmen and they are excited about all the new experiences, but I hope they don't only show the good times in college and them hanging with friends. I think it would be better to show all of the experiences, because trust pretty much everyone has at least one emotional break down during college. It's hard work and sometimes you have to miss out on the fun stuff to really focus on your grades. But all the hard work is what makes it so much more rewarding in the end, knowing that you did it and you now have something to show for it. I'm not hating on the girls at all, just hope they don't give their viewers a complete false sense of what college is.
Lynzeep I agree someone who does a really good realistic university experience despite being a freshman is Eve Bennett although she is British like me so is in Oxford.
when I was in interior design major I had emotional break down almost every week crying of being tired and working all the time, without having the grades that I worked for, but thank god that's over because I took the wise chose to change my major and go to graphic design, I wasted 1 year but oh will, one year to go.
I think they've changed / grown up in a way that didn't fit their current audience & are like many youtubers, are having people shift towards and away from them.
that's how i spend first half of my semester but as soon as my prof hand over my first exam grade all my fairytale days vanish in a sec and I find myself in library.
Drinking game- take a shot every time they say the word “college” 🍻 I loved this video. I think many people are getting butt-hurt because the way Brooklyn and Bailey are talking about college. They’re saying everything very matter-of-fact as if every college student has the same experience, which of course is no where near the truth. I’m in my senior year of college and never once had any similar situations as these two have showcased, but I think if they would’ve prefaced with something along the lines of “this is OUR college experience SO FAR” it would have helped even the playing field. Because even their own opinions and perception of college will change from semester to semester and year to year. Either way, I’m glad they’re having a good first month in school and interested to see how their views of college are shaped through their own personal experiences.
All these people saying "college isn't like that"....uh, it was for ME! I stayed up late with friends, ate crappy food, took midnight walks to the donut shop, mud sliding on the field during the rain.... I had a blast all 4 years. It is what you make of it. I also have to add that I had a little too much fun freshmen year because my grades weren't great. I had to buckle down a little more sophomore year, but I loved my college experience! I'm an "old" married mom with a baby now, so it makes me happy to know some kids are still living the life in college. I can tell you now, there truly is nothing else like it.

Hey girl💁🏽♀️ It’s not hate on them. You’re a freshman as well. And I’m a 4th year. I understood both sides of the excitement and the struggle because I’ve experienced it already. I think what everyone is trying to say that they wish they would have waited a little longer to post of video like this because there is more to it that what they only experienced so far, and labeling it as college lifestyle when its actually not. Also, if more than one person is saying the same thing, odds are that it’s true. If anything, most people (like myself) are super excited for all of their accomplishments, but it doesn’t mean that they can’t learn from a minor misunderstanding. Overall, I am excited for them to chase their dreams and continue to be smart educated women ☺️
Their experiences should be half way through the first semester. Not the first few weeks. Ofcourse everyone has their own experience in college but if they are going to make a video about it they should at least be done with their first semester. Only then can you say that it is what college life is really like. Also, you can not say people are just mad that Brooklyn and Bailey are enjoying and having a great time. They are simply letting others know that it isn’t always fun and games going to college while Brooklyn and Bailey are showing the better side of college. College is working a part time job, barely being able to afford your books, sacrificing sleep for school work and not caring enough to do your makeup before class
This is me currently. I work a part time job (which they work me like a full time job) and they work me long hours and then I have college on Tuesdays the whole day, Thursdays half the day, and one class on Monday. I also have to commute 30-40 minutes to my college lol. So I don't even bother with make up or caring about what I look like anymore. I basically look like a hobo 24/7 lmao. I have also had to buy my books out of my own pocket and my mom has had to help me because I was in between jobs and i was broke asf.
Omg I remember when I was in college, I would have early morning classes from like 7 - 12 and from there go straight to work until like 5. After that I would either go home and do homework all night or three times a week I was taking dance lessons and wouldn't get home until like 10 and still have to get my homework done. I barely had a social life unless I was seeing my dance friends lol

For me first year college (in Canada) was a lot of noodles, gold fish, alcohol, staying up late with floor mates, waking up 10 minutes before class debating on going, Rolling out of bed then coming back to my dorm and taking a nap.

Jul3s_xx most colleges require you to take a math placement test so that they can place you in a math class, it doesn’t matter what math class you graduated with in high school unless you took the AP calc exam and got a 4 of 5. I graduated with pre-calc in high school but I have to take college algebra and trigonometry for my pre-nursing program, it kinda sucks though 😩

I think their college lifestyle differs from others because it’s a Christian University and the community is so much more friendly , personally I have the same situation I attend a Christian University and my older friends that don’t go to Christian universities were saying how it’s so hard to make friends and it gets lonely and how your Roomate will be your only bestfriend but actually when it’s a Christian community my whole hall is my bestfriend and it’s amazing you meet so many great people and the community becomes you . If that even makes sense
I think its more so that these girls are just happy go lucky people, most people in college complains all the time. But these two are just sweet girls who don't want to take life for granite so they see thw happiness in everything.
I'm a Christian and I do not go to a Christian university. I just want to point out that even at Christian Universities, loneliness, friendship troubles, etc. are still very prevalent problems. The church is sinful, too! I also have experienced Christian friendships that are superficially genuine -- you know, the kind of bright, cheery friendships that are a little too good to be true. Just a thought. I agree with you that the Christian college community is most definitely more open and friendly than other college communities.
Tip for Brooklyn: college guys are more confident because they think in college it's easier to.... ya know. Be super careful and I would encourage not even doing casual dates unless you. Italy know someone in some kind of social setting (like a friend group, study group, club, coffee/hot cocoa between mutual classes). Many girls who go to Christian/catholic/religious schools get caught up in the idea that they are safe from those things and they guys at their school aren't like that, but trust me, they are. I know you are probably smart enough to know that, but lots of girls can be really intelligent but still naive about that kind of stuff.

@@jademaldonado9247 here's the thing, im not really familiarized with american college because im actually european but i do know it's very very very very very expensive (the fact you all pay college until you die is CRAZY to me because it's really not like that in europe) and because of that i know plenty of people who are able to go to college and not have jobs (ofc i also know a lot of people who do) but it's clear to me by their videos that their lifestyle allows them not to and all i'd want to see from them is the acknowledgement that they're living a life in college that isnt the "average/common college life" but i assume they do videos like this because they don't have more to talk about since it's their first year and that's probably the number one exciting thing going on in their lives rn, i hope in the future they understand their privilige a bit more
Maybe it’s just me, but isn’t making RUclips videos, editing them, and then posting them also a job? It also takes a lot of effort and time. And it’s a way of earning money. Maybe “mommy” didn’t pay for the room and the twins did instead. Just because they don’t work a traditional job doesn’t mean they don’t work hard for what they want to do.

when I was in interior design major I had emotional break down almost every week crying of being tired and working all the time, without having the grades that I worked for, but thank god that's over because I took the wise chose to change my major and go to graphic design, I wasted 1 year but oh will, one year to go.

I loved this video. I think many people are getting butt-hurt because the way Brooklyn and Bailey are talking about college. They’re saying everything very matter-of-fact as if every college student has the same experience, which of course is no where near the truth. I’m in my senior year of college and never once had any similar situations as these two have showcased, but I think if they would’ve prefaced with something along the lines of “this is OUR college experience SO FAR” it would have helped even the playing field. Because even their own opinions and perception of college will change from semester to semester and year to year. Either way, I’m glad they’re having a good first month in school and interested to see how their views of college are shaped through their own personal experiences.

All these people saying "college isn't like that"....uh, it was for ME! I stayed up late with friends, ate crappy food, took midnight walks to the donut shop, mud sliding on the field during the rain.... I had a blast all 4 years. It is what you make of it. I also have to add that I had a little too much fun freshmen year because my grades weren't great. I had to buckle down a little more sophomore year, but I loved my college experience! I'm an "old" married mom with a baby now, so it makes me happy to know some kids are still living the life in college. I can tell you now, there truly is nothing else like it.

Hey girl💁🏽♀️ It’s not hate on them. You’re a freshman as well. And I’m a 4th year. I understood both sides of the excitement and the struggle because I’ve experienced it already. I think what everyone is trying to say that they wish they would have waited a little longer to post of video like this because there is more to it that what they only experienced so far, and labeling it as college lifestyle when its actually not.
Also, if more than one person is saying the same thing, odds are that it’s true.
If anything, most people (like myself) are super excited for all of their accomplishments, but it doesn’t mean that they can’t learn from a minor misunderstanding. Overall, I am excited for them to chase their dreams and continue to be smart educated women ☺️
Their experiences should be half way through the first semester. Not the first few weeks. Ofcourse everyone has their own experience in college but if they are going to make a video about it they should at least be done with their first semester. Only then can you say that it is what college life is really like. Also, you can not say people are just mad that Brooklyn and Bailey are enjoying and having a great time. They are simply letting others know that it isn’t always fun and games going to college while Brooklyn and Bailey are showing the better side of college. And I know for a fact that everyone who goes to college doesn’t find the better side of it like the girls.

This is me currently. I work a part time job (which they work me like a full time job) and they work me long hours and then I have college on Tuesdays the whole day, Thursdays half the day, and one class on Monday. I also have to commute 30-40 minutes to my college lol. So I don't even bother with make up or caring about what I look like anymore. I basically look like a hobo 24/7 lmao. I have also had to buy my books out of my own pocket and my mom has had to help me because I was in between jobs and i was broke asf.
Omg I remember when I was in college, I would have early morning classes from like 7 - 12 and from there go straight to work until like 5. After that I would either go home and do homework all night or three times a week I was taking dance lessons and wouldn't get home until like 10 and still have to get my homework done. I barely had a social life unless I was seeing my dance friends lol

For me first year college (in Canada) was a lot of noodles, gold fish, alcohol, staying up late with floor mates, waking up 10 minutes before class debating on going, Rolling out of bed then coming back to my dorm and taking a nap.

I just wanna say, Baileys maths homework in COLLEGE is algebra. I'm in grade 8 and have learnt about those kinds of equasions. If you look at 8:44 you can see. WHY DO SCHOOLS TEACH THE SAME THING IN GRADE 8 ANC COLLEGE???
Jul3s_xx most colleges require you to take a math placement test so that they can place you in a math class, it doesn’t matter what math class you graduated with in high school unless you took the AP calc exam and got a 4 of 5. I graduated with pre-calc in high school but I have to take college algebra and trigonometry for my pre-nursing program, it kinda sucks though 😩

I think their college lifestyle differs from others because it’s a Christian University and the community is so much more friendly , personally I have the same situation I attend a Christian University and my older friends that don’t go to Christian universities were saying how it’s so hard to make friends and it gets lonely and how your Roomate will be your only bestfriend but actually when it’s a Christian community my whole hall is my bestfriend and it’s amazing you meet so many great people and the community becomes you . If that even makes sense

I think its more so that these girls are just happy go lucky people, most people in college complains all the time. But these two are just sweet girls who don't want to take life for granite so they see thw happiness in everything.
I'm a Christian and I do not go to a Christian university. I just want to point out that even at Christian Universities, loneliness, friendship troubles, etc. are still very prevalent problems. The church is sinful, too! I also have experienced Christian friendships that are superficially genuine -- you know, the kind of bright, cheery friendships that are a little too good to be true. Just a thought. I agree with you that the Christian college community is most definitely more open and friendly than other college communities.

This routine changes real quick when u get ur first grades back and midterm season hits you like a slap in the face.
Tip for Brooklyn: college guys are more confident because they think in college it's easier to.... ya know. Be super careful and I would encourage not even doing casual dates unless you. Italy know someone in some kind of social setting (like a friend group, study group, club, coffee/hot cocoa between mutual classes). Many girls who go to Christian/catholic/religious schools get caught up in the idea that they are safe from those things and they guys at their school aren't like that, but trust me, they are. I know you are probably smart enough to know that, but lots of girls can be really intelligent but still naive about that kind of stuff.

@@jademaldonado9247 here's the thing, im not really familiarized with american college because im actually european but i do know it's very very very very very expensive (the fact you all pay college until you die is CRAZY to me because it's really not like that in europe) and because of that i know plenty of people who are able to go to college and not have jobs (ofc i also know a lot of people who do) but it's clear to me by their videos that their lifestyle allows them not to and all i'd want to see from them is the acknowledgement that they're living a life in college that isnt the "average/common college life" but i assume they do videos like this because they don't have more to talk about since it's their first year and that's probably the number one exciting thing going on in their lives rn, i hope in the future they understand their privilige a bit more
Maybe it’s just me, but isn’t making RUclips videos, editing them, and then posting them also a job? It also takes a lot of effort and time. And it’s a way of earning money. Maybe “mommy” didn’t pay for the room and the twins did instead. Just because they don’t work a traditional job doesn’t mean they don’t work hard for what they want to do.
