It's probably more accurate to say that Standard missiles are more obedient than the Harpoons since they have an illuminator to hold their hand all the way through (or least most of the way).
Originally, you had to shoot the oil rigs, but in Stealth17's run they took more damage than they ha any right to. Looks like the scenario maker set up a trigger to "destroy" the rigs instead, which actually improves the mission dramatically.
I've played this mission set, it's very good. Tried to make a mission with Wolf in mind, but it's really hard to make it balanced, challenging, and professional. This mission set is all of the above.
Also have you ever thought of doing a defense scenario against a superior enemy? I think it would be very cool to see what you would do in that situation
Hey wolfpack! Would you consider a sea power playthrough of "never fade away" campaign made by CENT? Some really cool missions in their including one called "lost at sea(if I remember correctly) that one is really cool and a lot of fun
anyone else having issues lately where your RGM-84s pop up far too early and then continue in sea skimming mode until impact? The AGM-84 does the same, but UGM-84s are working fine
Happy New Year!!! Love your videos. Been watching for years. You doing alright? You sound like you have a pretty bad cold. If so, hope you feel better soon.
honestly I'm surprised you haven't hit more civilian vessels in all the Sea Power videos you've put out, seems like I hit a neutral ship with every other Harpoon I send out
I gave cold waters a “trial” on steam. Gotta say, after a few missions, I am super excited to get Sea Power. Didn’t know if I’d like this style game but if I enjoyed the 1:45 minutes of CW, I’m sure SP is definitely better in many ways.
Just be wary about the ai, it’s not very intelligent at the moment and I’ll give a few examples that have frustrated me the most: Carriers when having planes in the pattern will not turn or stop, this is accurate but there is no way to stop them recovering aircraft temporarily to get away from wake homers The air to air planes don’t listen to orders of firing missiles, especially the fox ones which they like to return to formation before it has a chance to hit, also “performs pursuits” by just kinda flying around not firing missiles, especially F4J’s Oftentimes they’ll directly ignore orders
@ Thanks for the heads up. I have noticed some AI flaws with watching the videos about this game. Gonna wait till it’s on sale for lower than it was a few weeks ago. Might just rebuy Cold waters and play that till then.
Love the game, I had stopped watching videos so it didn’t give away the missions for me to play. But I’m taking a break from the game for now until the AI is improved so back to video watching!
Im waiting for him to make one massive video of all six episodes lol Also also waiting on the FinnishJaeger(?) guy to make a cool scenario where he has to deploy a marine force to capture a Soviet ship, which he then has fk escort out of the AO and will have to deal with submarines coming out when he does. Thats my dumb idea. I also wanna see some CoD fights, like the one preceding MW3's attack on New York.
I some allergies recording this but the big thing is that my audio interface broke and sadly I lost my settings. Need to work to get it perfect again haha
Yeah that's unfortunate the neutral freighter was hit...by something. We promise to investigate this matter fully and I am certain it will show that was enemy fire.. unfortunate. Also those oil platforms due to shoddy construction were the cause of the unfortunate environmental crisis and the CH 46 was obviously offering assistance and we don't know what caused the enemy to accuse the Seals.🤷 It's unfortunate, but the United States is here for our allies and innocent civilians. Thank you.
Yes, I changed this one based on player feedback -- the oil platforms took too long to destroy with gunfire hence the "land SEALs" simulated with triggers ;)
The harpoons are pretty darned stupid. A bit like the seagulls from Finding Nemo. If only Uncle Sam weren't so cheap and put a cooperative swarming intelligence datalinks on them like the Shipwrecks have, so you could just counterbattery spam fire your entire magazine down bearing when you detect a launch and let the missiles figure it out.
Perhaps the originals but the ones in use today are actually programmable. They can have waypoints, can be set to only activate at specific times, and will fail safe after missing a target. Those versions don't seem to be in the game. Just like how the controls for torpedoes are rather basic compared to Cold Waters. Also, I very much doubt "Shipwrecks", like all Soviet wunder weapons, actually worked as advertised.
You're complicit in SEALs causing an international environmental disaster. You blew up an oil refinery right on the coast in what appeared to be a residential area. Then, you Harpooned a neutral container ship. Do you even know what that container ship was hauling? Well, I'll read the manifest for you then. It was loaded at 101% capacity with kittens and puppies, along with their respective parents who had all just been adopted and were going to their new forever homes, in addition to more cats and dogs that were service animals who had just either retired or were injured while on duty and taking a forced disability retirement, the latest model of Ferrari's for the entire region, the McLaren F1 Team's cars, materials, and gear being shipped ahead to the Australian GP, and enough rice and grain to feed the children of three small countries for one year. Not to mention that "the" Captain Phillips was on the bridge as his first job back since being held hostage by the Somalian pirates! In fact, the SEALs that just caused the oil spill were part of the same team that saved him! How dare you! Otherwise, good work.
@ love your videos man! Way better story lines than any other streamer!! Thank you for the hard work you put into these things, it make for great entertainment.
wolfpack saw a merchant and his Silent Hunter instincts kicked in haha
I am a simple man. I see a new Wolfpack345 Sea Power movie, I watch the new Wolfpack345 Sea Power movie.
i too am a simple man, and this simple man also watches the sea power movie.
yes, I concur
lol, the canon ending of "congratulations, you are being court martialed."
When you're a pilot in a Sea Power game and your task force is commanded by Wolfpack, better make sure your life insurance is up to date :D.
It's probably more accurate to say that Standard missiles are more obedient than the Harpoons since they have an illuminator to hold their hand all the way through (or least most of the way).
just for terminal approach but your point is sound
I really love your intro style dude, very well done!!
Thanks a ton!
NAH I HEARD OIL, THAT SHIT MINE 🦅🦅🦅
A fellow TheRussianBadger fan I see.
NO, IT'S MY OIL, LEAVE IT ALONE 🇦🇺🇦🇺
That oil is mine 🇮🇩

"thankfully the scenario ended before that neutral merchant could sink" yea, now you only gotta deal with a court marshall for one thing.
Thanks! Dude I don’t always do this but I’ve been really enjoying your videos. Keep it up!
Thank you so much for the donation! I appreciate it and it helps a ton. Glad you like the videos!
They should add rescue ops to the game as well. It would be cool to rescue sailors from the water.
Early Bird gets the oil reserves!
"Prepare to be liberated!"
In this episode, the gang accidentally causes an international incident!
Great content as always WP!
19:11 Wolfpacks uncontrollably urge to sink freighters strikes again.
Most realistic scenario in sea power.
@05:00 Missiles generally run out of energy just after they explode, too.
Good timing on the not sinking of a no no ship!
Love to see the new sea power episode, keep up the great work!
Also have you ever thought of doing a defense scenario against a superior enemy? I think it would be very cool to see what you would do in that situation
HAPPY NEW YEAR, WOLFPACK!!!!
That tiny trawler had an Icelandic flag, not Norwegian. 😉
I realized this after and intended to cut this stupid mistake but I forgot lol
@@Wolfpack345 Aaah, all those crazy nordics are alike..
At least it's immersive in terms of american stereotypes
@@jasonbrack2042 All Scandinavian countries kindda copied the Danish flag with some modifications. :)
@@Harte74 It's not like the cross has an important cultural connotations for any of the nations in question. ;)
Love you from Indonesia 🇮🇩🦅
I can never here or see Balikpapan and not think of the Destroyermen series.
I know right?
Wolfpack and seapower on Sunday morrning, awesome.

great job on the intro again!
Thanks!
Love your upload schedule! Really looking forward to the next Scramble upload!
Brilliant! Unfortunate towards the end, but very entertaining!
That litte fishing trawler was not from Norway but from Iceland! (~19:00)
All 5 of the Icelanders are now very upset!

Let’s Goooo! New Wolfpack Video Ya’ll.
Hope you had a great holiday season!
There actually was a container ship called the Flinders Bay in real life, and it was green.
Is there a "paper pushing" simulator? If there is, this game would model it.
Thank you for bringing us this latest adventure I hope that you are feeling well. Your voice sounds different today. A little bit more bassy. 😊😊
