Yes, the eastern port of Vladivostok alone, on the Pacific Ocean, in what used to be Chinese Outer Manchuria, is a Qing Dynasty asset that the CCP has not forgotten, and they consider the ceding of those lands to Russia under the Treaty of Aigun in 1858 an unfair treaty. In addition to mining resources, China is also wanting freshwater assets from the region. If China can acquire portions of Russia (or all of it) as a vassal state, that's also an attractive option. Geopolitics is merely a hobby for me, so you might do well to confirm these things for yourself if you'd like to know more. ----- Outer Manchuria,[3][4][1][2][5] sometimes called Russian Manchuria, refers to a region in Northeast Asia that is now part of the Russian Far East[1] but historically formed part of Manchuria (until the mid-19th century). While Manchuria now more normatively refers to Northeast China, it originally included areas consisting of Priamurye between the left bank of Amur River and the Stanovoy Range to the north, and Primorskaya which covered the area in the right bank of both Ussuri River and the lower Amur River to the Pacific Coast.

Too slow, too cautious, too careful -- that is Biden in a nutshell. Some of his latest decisions should have been made over a year ago.
Biden should have had NATO forces gather along Ukraine's western border as Putin amassed his along the eastern border under the guise of "exercises." Had NATO done so, it is highly likely Putin would have stood down rather than invaded. Being timorous is a mistake in dealing with tyranny.
In an election year it wouldn't have helped him. The problem was Fox news and Sinclair media. And possibly Musk tampering with the vote. Anyway, escalating wars is not a plan for reelection..from the looks of the channels with high end graphics showing Ukraine battles, drones are winning the battles.

Absolutely. Russia is completely finished and trembling at the very thought of retribution from the invincible United Kingdom. What a huge relief!!!!!
What has Russia ever created of value apart from literature, music and ballet? A few doped athletes? For such a country so huge and so rich in natural resources that's pretty embarrassing.

If Ukraine is casted aside, how can any coalition countries support aggression against Taiwan or care, for China invade?
Ukraine was sold down the river years ago. They have been used as canon fodder and have failed. Fighting for the US hegemon was never a good idea even when it was the world hegemonic power which it hasn't been for at least 20 years now.
Why would one ever believe what the Radio Times says? Do they have frontline reporters, or even reporters behind this line in the field?
I do!!!
They just make up a pack of lies. Nothing they ever say turns out to be true
Well...just using basic math, most military analysts predicted Russia overrunning Ukraine within about a month. Now they've been at war for over 1,000 days. That doesn't sound like something that's going well. Then there's the fact that he's now resorting to importing North Korean troops.
It's purely for BBC watchers and booster takers.
@@barrylane1055 instead of wasting 12 minutes watching this video spend that time looking back of the previous stories that all turned out to be false and based on nothing,

The word "fastest" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in that statement. 205 more years to go and they will have all of Ukraine.
I always thought US military was based on being able to fight a war on 2 or more fronts?!?
@Coddiwomple4x4
Well, the fact that not one country has ever successfully invaded the United States of America since 1775 I guess we have proved that we can fight any war or numerous wars at anytime but don't need to.
Russia still has place for Lavrov and Putin at the Front line😮
Lawrow's got a bad back, gout and liver problems, and Putin's got dodgy knees.

When they already had an army in excess of one million personnel in 2022, it’s kind of embarrassing for them that they had to have ANY mobilisation drive to increase (or just prop up) their numbers.
Russia invaded Ukraine with just 160000 troops (Pentagon's info). We didn't really expect Ukrainians wanted to fight for Bidens and Zelensky 😅😅😅

Did you ever speak on how after the war how Russia is supposed to rebuild? Let's say we get a peace deal in June next year, how is Russia rebuilding? You don't need their fuel really, unless you get the price at a severe discount, sure they have rare earth materials, but things were ok without using them coming from Russia. What does Peace look like for Russia?
They'll counterfeit U.S. dollars.
It is interesting that Putin still has a job after all his mistakes, but I guess he has such a hold on the people he interacts with that they don't dare and the Russian people believe the propaganda and don't want to see what he is really doing to their country. Ignorance is bliss. What dead and injured soldiers, not my concern. It appears the economics of war haven't affected them enough yet either.
It will be interesting to see if putin's 'Hoochie Moma' trump will try to get a russian aid package passed. Congress & the Senate won't go for it of course. But trump will have discretionary funds he can send to anyone he wants to.

An area half the size of London... on a front that is 1500+ km long. These gains remain at the tactical level so far, they're not even at the operational level and let alone the strategical one..
And they're coming at an horrendous cost in terms of manpower and materiel for the ruzzians.
