- Bandai Namco has unveiled some of the details of the brand-new Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour, which is set to launch at the CEO Fighting Game Championships on June 29 in Daytona Beach, Florida. A big twist is one player could win an automatic bye to the grand finals by winning all seven tournaments leading into the final event.

One of my favorite things about this community is the hype for Cell's shout when he powers up in the intro cutscene. It makes me smile hearing the whole audience power up along with him.
It's such a community we have here. This game has brought so many people together so quickly, even bringing a Smash player over in the form of Leffen!
I think the community screaming with Cell intro (along with other things like Yamcha level 3) is one of my favourite things in fighting games, I can't wait to see what it's like for Evo

Refreshing seeing someone win without having a Cell and Vegeta assist team. Not a knock on people who use them though. They're still great players but man, it's just nice to see. GO1 had it the whole way but he was just just outplayed and the Yamcha assist had him on lockdown. He'll come back stronger as always though.
Kid Buu and Gotenks have taken over Vegetas spot, Kid Buu was always good just Vegetas assist was better at the time. I despise Kid Buu have since launch so I'm all for his tuning down. But Cell is definitely in need of tuning.
Boba Renning Gohan’s legs, kid buu’s utility and mixups/ multi supers, and yamcha’s unpredictability. That team has many more tools than the basic, cell, Bardock, Vegeta. Especially since those characters have been used so much they’ve gotten very predictable in higher play I would presume. Yamcha is just crazy good and slept on, the Yamcha meta is coming.

It's a top tier assist no doubt. It's better than seeing Vegeta 24/7 also. I just wish his damage output was higher. His lvl 1 is the weakest in the game. It's kinda hard to make solo comebacks with Yamcha for that very reason. He's just very meter dependent.
Watch it get nerf'd on block after the next patch.

That last string by Kazunoko to win the tournament was the craziest mix up I think I've ever seen. He covered the air dash back to the front of Go1 with kid buus lockdown assist after he already went through him. You'd have to be so godly to block this kind of shit, it's insane.
I love how they always have the most animated commentators that are almost as entertaining and the game itself.

I put together a team day 1 that was the same as Kazunoko's, and while I'm arguably trash with the team it's super inspiring watching someone play at a high level with my 3 favorite characters!

And I am happy for him! Except for the sketchy time waster in between the reset when sonic asked to switch sides, ruining the momentum, the match was great. But i guarantee no matter how great the set was, if there was no American in grand finals, the crowd would be dead.
My point wasn't that America sucks. Its that people don't care about some good old fashion Dragon Ball, they just want bragging rights when their country wins. They just want to talk shit. When Americans couldn't do that they were salty AF

GO1 got downloaded at the end.
PropellerBusted I think he was mentally exhausted. That round that he won in the second set was like his other clutch last rounds but it took all his wits/adrenaline to pull off that round and he had to win 2 more still.
It looked like he was playing at 100% and mostly losing for the first set. Played 1 round at 150% and won but could only play at 75% afterward. You could say he was downloaded but it almost looked more like a horse that had been broken in and given up to me.

How does go1 do the bardock level 3 after vegeta smashes buu down? I can't seem to figure it out
Will Kershisnik you can input a character's level 3 around that point so that they fall into it and it'll connect
Half circle back to z change level 3.
If you are doing a level 1 with your current character you can just do a level 3 input with assist to DHC level 3, but if you are not doing a level 1 you need to half circle back
I could also be completely wrong though
Does anyone know how they keep tagging in for a level 3 super from just a basic attack? Like, I know how to do it if you're currently doing a level 1 super but not just on its own

terry Terry Who are you fooling? Because you're not fooling me or him. Gohan is top tier for a reason; he's easy as hell to play. He is nowhere near as technical as a Gotenks or Piccolo. Even Ginyu is more technical than him.
Im surprised Go1 didn't went back and play Gohan, dude was beast!
Ju Friod his leg loops are pretty difficult, and I’d definitely argue he’s harder to use at this point than gotenks. Gotenks is a more well rounded character and his combo potential is much lower making it easier to optimize with him. Btw gotenks is my fav character
Nah, I'm with Ju on this one. His leg loops and corner combos are just a matter of labbing, his genneral combo structure is pretty standard and he has solid neutral because of his insane-tier buttons. He takes some getting used to for details like his 3H, I'm sure, but then again most characters do.
Go1 now has the habit of vanishing against tag out, I’m not really sure if it’s he best response, doesn’t seem to accomplish much for that 1 bar.
And opponents are getting good at baiting go1’s tag out, leffen and kazu both did it consistently with quite a few success

Damn kazunoko got in goichi ass; and his head. Goichi was scared to push a button. Goichi missed a lot air pressure with cell and he really wasn't offensive at all. He was on the defensive the whole time and kazunoko just took advantage. Damn, I couldn't even finish the video after 38:49. Too painful to watch.
