Thanks for the video. Just bought a 2023 vaquero. Been needing to do this. Also where to mount my Quad lock. Probably in the middle between the 12 inch ape hangers I have. Looking forward to do this with your help. 👍🏻 be safe
@theodoremorgan5826 Mini apes are a great addition to the Vaquero in my opinion 🤙 A lot of ppl get the 12" JSR bars. I installed the 11" FMB bars. They're virtually identical. I found the FMBs didn't strain the cables as much. Both have gotten very good reviews though. I mounted my quad lock system in the same place, with a little extension & anti-vibe attachment. Works great! Additional fact, if you're thinking of doing the Ivan's Tune on your Vaquero ECU, I have 15,000km on the bike, post-tune, & it's running very well. No issues so far. Been meaning to post a video about it but haven't made the time. Stay safe, happy riding, & enjoy your new Vaquero 🔥🍻
Thanks 🤙 Its a hefty boat of a motorcycle & a pig on fuel with the ECU tune, but i love riding it. Here's a link to the DC 12v part from the American Kawasaki website. www.kawasaki.com/en-us/shop/vehicle-accessories/motorcycle/vn1700klf/999940237/dc-power-outlet
The 12 volt that came equipped with my Kawasaki 1700 Voyager is useless. The diameter is to large to hold anything plugged into it. Everything backs out while riding. Hopefully yours works.
I get what you mean. It has backed out on me a few times as well, while I've been charging my phone, using GPS. You basically have to test different 12v chargers to see which fits best. Or fashion a way to keep 12v plug in the socket. Kind of at its mercy since i need the power on rides
Im not sure on the wire guage if you want to hardwire, but if you purchase the unit from Kawasaki, it's literally plug & play. Hope that helps. Congrats on your '23 Vaquero 🤙 You're going to love it
@superbia_SanYch Yes, the Vaquero is very basic compared to the Voyager. I like the look of the Vaquero, but looking back on it now, I would've bought the Voyager & just removed the trunk / passenger section & kept it for use during longer journeys.

Странно. В Вояджере она стоит по умолчанию
