@houghtonbonsai I had plenty of room last winter...some larger tree's died this summer. But I've added cuttings and a few ficus trees. Plus the existing trees have grown. It's going to be interesting arranging them. There may be a few that get given away at local club meetings. 😮😮
@@dkstott29 Sorry to hear you lost some trees Dave, i have lost a couple this year as well. it is going to be like a big jigsaw puzzle for you to sort them out haha. we Bonsai collectors need to know when to say we have enough lol but its hard its addictive ;)
@houghtonbonsai day's of heavy rain followed by really high humidity was the cause of trees dying. I had terra cotta pots that were sweating from the previous rains and then the humidity. Nothing was drying out, so root rot happened.
Hi Gary, he is behaving for now because he is in the pond but when the little ducker is out the pond he likes to eat the trees that he can reach, even more so now that i have removed the weeds he used to eat haha ;)
My Mrs goes nuts cos I've got 6 or 7 trees FFS maybe I need a new Mrs. Looks like I'm gonna need a new tree aswell cons one of my 8 year old birches isn't looking good for some reason, leaves have dropped and gone crispy but the other bitch about 4 feet away is fine, I'm gonna be gutted if I lose that
Pmsl @ New Mrs haha, i have had a few trees this year with the same problem. Scratch the branch/trunk to see if it is green and if it is you should be ok just keep it protected as it is coming into Autum now so you should be fine m8. if you buy a tree from the shows just say to the wife you have won it on a raffle haha ;)
