The VR4 was SOO ahead of its time. Reason these arent more sought after is because they were up against the likes of the Nissan GTR Skyline and the Mazda RX-7 along with the Toyota Supra. The VR4 is heavier and people who wanted something lighter weight and still AWD went with the Skyline. The gentlemens rule in Japan regulated car manufacturers to limit the power output to around 276hp across all the above mentioned car makes and models as well as other japanese makes and models but... if you dyno each car, it proves that they all make above the agreed upon power limits. The VR4 is unique in many ways that the other's are not. I absolutely love the VR4 for that exact reason. He did an amazing and tasteful job modifying his VR4. Hope he keeps it forever.
Thank you so much for watching the video and I definitely appreciate the information you provided about the car. I had no idea about the history of the vr4 like that. I think he will definitely keep that car. Thanks again!
I'm pretty sure those are custom, but it only takes wiring up an LED strip/flexible tube inside the housing. There are a lot of tutorials for it, it's not super difficult to DIY. Correction- Katantails made them at one point, but you can probably diy it fairly easily
