Love his playing ever since he first came out.... However . The last several live recordings I've seen of him he plays his songs at too fast of a tempo....hes playing the songs much faster than they were written originally..... It's like listening to someone who talks too fast is aggravating
All of yngwie albums are like AC/DC albums it's the same yngwie practice regiment over n over l try over the years n after three tunes l leave his stuff get stale quick
Boring as shit. I honestly tried to make it to the end of the video. It just sounds like he's noodling endlessly. Don't get me wrong, Yngwie is an amazing guitarist. This wasn't it. The band is like "Ok, it's the Yngwie Show, see you when he's done. We're going to have a beer, grill some hotdogs, maybe catch movie."
I think I both agree and disagree with you at the same time 😅: It’s indeed “the Yngwie Show” so not much more to say - you either go and get what you get, or you don’t go. You are not provided any other choice. 😅 They made us sign a waiver at the door, so everyone is clear what they’re getting themselves into. 😂 About the noodling, like it was customary in the 80’s the concert had a solo spot for each performer, i.e. “Drum solo”, “Guitar solo” etc. Thankfully, they spared us the “Bass solo”. So this being the designated “Guitar solo” bit, I think he’s entitled to some noodling. It’s not all great, he risks many things and he fails in some of them, but that’s what the guy does and that’s what he likes, so in that respect I think he’s sincere. You gotta hand it to him, if not all the noodling was 100% gold, at least I liked his approach. Would watch again.
@@NakedGuitarCabs I've seen him live twice. I saw him years ago, we're talking late 90s at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC. He actually hung out with us at the tour bus for about an hour after the show. He was struggling with alcohol problems back then, but let me tell you - he's 100 percent genuine. Of course he was younger and the show he put on had more youth energy, and he actually played blues for some of the gig. Phenomenal guitarist, but that's both an understatement and a given now. This show wasn't anything near the show he put on back then. I don't know, maybe its just me. It's just I've seen him do better.
@@thecentralscrutinizerr Yeah dude, wholeheartedly agree with you. Also, cool story thank you for sharing it! I am happy that at least he seems to be in shape and alcohol-free these days. Other than that, Yngwie is Yngwie and should be appreciated as such. :D He does get boring and he does tend to drive in circles a lot, lol far from perfect, but I guess we can all agree the world would be a quieter and much more boring place without him. So cheers and may we all live long to see his next shenanigans. :)
@@thecentralscrutinizerr "This show wasn't anything near the show he put on back then" Well, first of all, he used to have a killer band, including a killer singer. I saw him 3 times, the first one in 96'', he had Mark Boals, Tommy Aldridge, etc... His shows now are lame, so it's their latest albums... big fan here but he's too far from what he once was
iirc he's not using even close to that, and he likes having stuff on stage for the look as opposed to any function... remember his fuzz pedal that's there purely because it looks like a landmine?
LEGEND!!! All the trolls seeking out his videos- news for you millions of people love Malmsteen he is thriving selling out shows and last album where Yngwie Malmsteen sings went straight into the Billboard charts at 89 :-) Don't bother to be a hater you aint changing anyones mind by seeking out his videos.
Can’t tell if this is /s or not 😅, so here goes: "Trilogy Suite Op: 5" is the last track of Yngwie Malmsteen’s “Trilogy” album, released in October 1986. So in 2024 this song will be 38 years old.
LOL He is selling out every single night 5000 seaters SOLD OUT! His last album went into the billboard charts at 89 and Yngwie Malmsteen himself sings! So NO he does not need those screechy old singers!
😂 No actually there were a few thousand people watching the show, I’m just very good at filming. And it helps that it was in an ancient Roman theater, seats are arranged in such a way that you are higher than the people in front of you. 😊
Never ending Malmsteeeeeeen🔥🔥🔥🔥

At these stupid speeds, his music is full of mistakes and incredibly un-musical.
@@ChrisM541 . In a lot of cases he's using way too much delay echo ect...too loose and muddy
,,,,,,.......... KING STRAT ,,,,,,,,,,,,......long live the king.......
He needs more Marshalls
Yeah it’s too spinal tap. Lol
It’s why I have a hard time taking him seriously.

Troll stop seeking out his videos! All his shows have been SOLD OUT and you come here to blah blah blah lol!!!
One Ampeg 8 x 10 cabinet for the bassist and 16 Marshall 4 x 12's for Yngwie

Man, his playing has gotten sloppy! Compare this to the Live in Leningrad concert. This sucks!!
He’s getting worse and worse every time. Super inaccurate and out of tune. Endless noodling. Terrible.
LOL Jealousy is not a good look man! If you want accuracy he is getting more and more famous all his shows have been Sold Out so please Buzz O...
Finally , the drums is not all the side of the stage
2.34 loose tune but fast change guitar ..., genius best guitar player ever , not only to be fast he is a composer and complete musician too.
Hello Devil... sure, I'll make that deal. Thank you!
