Thanks for your support as usual. Well I had it in my head to do the pottery thing - but when I rewatched the film, the mood of that scene wasn’t how I had remembered. And it didn’t use this version of the music (it uses the original song). So I decided to just stick with the mood of the ending. But I have you noticed I’m wearing Patrick Swayze’s shirt at least!! 😜
@@EricsHomeOrchestra >> But I have you noticed I’m wearing Patrick Swayze’s shirt at least!! Hey yes indeed! By the way, have I ever told you about a funny video called "1992 le batteur du Boléro" ? It's about how a drummer gets bored while playing with an orchestra Ravel's Boléo.
@@Solsys2007 no you haven't, but I've just watched it! It's funny, and an interesting idea. You know, I've considered doing that piece several times, but I always dismiss it because it is just too repetitive. Even Ravel himself admits it was simply an experiment to see how long you could stretch out just two short thematic phrases, repeated over and over again. I guess it's the hypnotic nature of it that makes it work, and makes it so popular too. (oh, and I'm currently considering getting a real snare drum, but I can't decide if its worth bothering. It would certainly be fun - just not for this piece!).
@@EricsHomeOrchestra Well it's not my money, but if you still have some room left in your place, why not have fun and experiment with it ? It could lead to new ways to interpret certain melodies. Ten years ago I went to a concert where a choir was singing techno music, the human voice gave the beats an overwordly sound.
As with my reply for the Harry Potter video, all the string instruments are real. Also real is the clarinet. Other instruments done with a digital wind synth (EWI Solo).
Really enjoyed this. Brilliant interpretation.
Thanks valshort 🙏
gorgeous
Thanks rc 👍
Etherial - yet also scarily good. Thanks Eric. Yet another phantasmic rendition.
Thank you so much 🙏👍. Thanks for watching.
This is so good Eric! The performance is amazing as always and your mix just keeps getting better and better, its so realistic!!!
Thanks Joseph. I’m so pleased you think my mixing is improving. I’m picking up lots of tips from your stream.
Really good. Great strings!
Thanks!! 🙏
很有趣,能学这么多乐器好厉害!
Yes I have a lot of fun! Thanks for watching 🙏👍😊
Very delicate interpretation, well done 👍
So, you finally decided not to post the recreation of the pottery scene? 😉
