The arcade game was created by the legendary Eugene Jarvis, the mind behind Defender, Robotron, Smash TV, Cruisin USA and Maximum Force. The latter title is a predecessor to Target:Terror. Definitely worth checking out.
You know those "video games" that are on a TV screen in a major television network crime show because they couldn't get the licensing rights for a AAA title? This is that game.
You know what this game needs? A pair of .44 Magnums, a 90s buddy-cop movie soundtrack, and a lot of KONAMI, and you know what you get? *LETHAL ENFORCERS!* (cue .44 Magnum gunshot)
In the arcade version, yes. The most nonviolent setting in the arcade version turns off the blood, gore, violence, and even the power weapons, as well as replaces all the bullets with paintballs. In the console version, however, I am not sure what changing the violence settings will change.
its more fun watching this game than actually playing it if that makes any sense. This game desperately needed an actual light gun. And i have the buck shot red Wii gun.
according to the Wii manual, a low violent setting has the game in "Paintball mode". A medium violent setting does cause the enemies to bleed, and it allows the player to be shot repeatedly, and the high violent setting not only allows the enemies to bleed, but it also features gore that leads to bloody messes.
I kicked this games ass in the arcade all the time. Just recently beat it again at an arcade while at a sports tournament. Usually takes me about 3.00 in creds though
I use to play this game six years ago at a Greyhound bus station before I went on a trip out of town...it was good times, like Shaundi would say. Despite the difficulty of killing terrorists in this game while trying to protect civilians, it was fun to play this crazy video game! :)
Simaginary Friend Not to put a damper on your comment, but the violence settings were also in the original arcade version. They put violence settings on arcade games so that operators don't have to deal with complaining parents. So for once, it wasn't actually Nintendo's fault. Usually it is (like when they censored Eugene Jarvis's other game, Cruis'n USA).

Shark fan of the sea I don't think he speaks English

Far better than I've ever managed---game is just too crazy. The world won't see a perfect video clear of this game outside of a TAS emu run.

Not to mention all the terrorists one-liners...
"YOU MISSED ME, PIG!"
"YOU CAN'T KILL ME, COPPER!!"
Lethal Enforcers, much?
I use to play this game six years ago at a Greyhound bus station before I went on a trip out of town...it was good times, like Shaundi would say. Despite the difficulty of killing terrorists in this game while trying to protect civilians, it was fun to play this crazy video game! :)
Not gonna lie, 3:20 - 6:51 was really giving me some Area 51 vibes.
That ending green screen was hilarious!!
A controlled satellite strike on people inside a plane. Pretty darn funny.
1:26 Dave Chappelle: BYAAAHHHH!!
Do you think you will have plans to play through Total Vice?
Would you ever want to go back and play this game again in "Justice Mode"?
例えばCounter Force(エックスゼウスの移植)とか。
90's Mortal Kombat action!
I used to always be the top scoring in this game when I was a teen. Wish i could find the original arcade game instead of on the wii
This game made me love America.
Lol at the ninja near the end...
...HEY! Can you kill the prez at the ending? That would be awesome.
1:08:56 GET OFF MY PLANE!
Yehhhh, I like this game, it's like Maximum Force
Hardcore ending. Hard-fuckin' core ending, baby!!!! Crime just doesn't pay...ever.
otoko4th, will you do target: Force next? Target: Force is a kid-friendly version of Target: Terror.
Wrong, Target: Force is the Japanese name for Target: Terror
I love this game. Even though I know I shouldn't
This is like Mortal Kombat, but it's shooting game.
So that’s how it ended, I kept shooting for the head all this time. :P
Both are great.
Anyone notice some of the sound effects are taken from Doom?
+Doommaster1994 The pistol and grunt noises, as well as a few deaths I think. I wonder if those sound effects were used before Doom?
The violence is adjustable? You gotta love Nintendo.

You need delta force knowledge to be suited for the rage of terrorist attacks
The final stage is hard. There's like 6,7 terrorists at once and u lose a life every 2-3 minutes.
the reason why the game is too hard is because of the dodgy hit detection when it was ported to the wii.
Do you have to shoot the captain at the end of the bonus level?!
Clocked this on $1 at the arcade
Time crisis 3 is better than this
nice game but hard
I played this game I like it
00:32 YOU FUCKING SCARED ME MATE!!!
So, which is better, this or Maximum Force?
Any chance of Dead Space: Extraction?
I WANT THIS GAME!!
0:12:11: OUCH with a shotgun on it!
211 in progress at 37th Street State Bank...
...oops, sorry, wrong game...
*YOU MISSED ME, PIG!!*

Raw Thrills makes the worst arcade games ever
Arcade version is not bad. But Wii version is bad. Because arcade version is for CRT TV, Wii version is for LCD TV.
So how do you pass the final scene?
