The music in Area 51 gets me so pumped one of the best arcade shooters number one these game developers had to make these games awesome so awesome that you're willing to put money into it to see how the game ends

How did you get this calibrated? I've been trying to calibrate it like crazy with no luck. everytime I try it the crosshair doesn't go to the left edge of the screen making it impossible to reload on that side. any info would be appreciated

Noooooo. Every time i played this it crashed literally near the end because the spaceship never appeared on screen. I can't believe i was this close multiple times to beating this game on an actual cabinet but because the spaceship never appeared it just caused the game to crash instead.
Area 51 is on my list of my favorite arcade games ocean hunter is another one Vampire Knight is another one house of the dead is another one carnevil is another one. Crisis zone is another one Time Crisis 3 and 4 are good ones aliens extermination.
I remember killing the first 3 guys on your side and then you turned into an alien for the rest of the game :D you could not shoot one alien though just had to soak damage and kill 3 on your side.
maak honestly I'd be happy if they really released this for steam PlayStation 4 an Xbox One and why not release it on the Nintendo switch if they put a sweet price of 20 bucks on a remaster of Area 51 I'd buy it with online servers so somebody can drop in to help you out with the game like the old arcade game days

One of the few lasting legacies of the Atari Jaguar, since the arcade board is basically a beefed up Jaguar, and a good game as well.

man i could never beat this game on ps1 . using the controller was too slow and the enemies always seemed to get a shot in and drain my credits.
The highest rank I got was 1st Lieutenant which was pretty good.

How do you tell it when to reload the gun?
When you use up your bullets, there is a "Reload. Shoot off Screen" warning on-screen. That's when you have to reload, by shooting outside the screen.
I mean how do you reload on emulator? You would practically would have to click outside the window of the emulator to reload.
