Your brainfeeder debut ad made me listen to this song and then most of the other ones. Now, I'm completely in love! For a group with such a unique approach you are extremely easy to listen to even on the first try and have that potential to extend your audience much further. I hope your reach grows, because that would let more people have a chance to appreciate it and fall in love in the same way. Amazing work.
Altin Gun is kinda similar. I think they might have taken their inspiration from them, at least for some of their songs (Altin Gun is a Dutch Turkish funk fusion band)
Any plans on touring the U.S? Don’t worry, it’s not near as bad as our media makes it out to be😉 If so, please plan a stop in Minneapolis, MN. The “skyway theater” is a great venue to look into. Hope to see you there.🥰🤞🏼
me Tarzan, me like it! it keeps that Kit Sebastian flavor however it is kind a new vibe, love the lyrics and music as usual which doesn't surprise me at all.. ❤ let's go new album! (no pressure, take your time, maybe me Tarzan but me wait! )
glad you mention who helped put the video together, but not having researched Kit Sebastian before seeing this, how bout mentioning who WROTE the song. =)
Even though the vocalist's voice is quite amateurish and lacks strength, making it barely listenable on its own, the musical arrangement is extraordinary.
it is not always due to in how many singing schools you have been in, sometimes it is about bringing special emotion, bringing the meaning of the lyrics, and at the end bringing something very new. Johnny Rotten was not Pavarotti also right !?
Would you have said that about any of the singers from the sixties they’re clearly referencing? Probably not. It’s clearly a choice (sounds like they listen to a lot of lounge music and female singers from that period, many of whom kept their voices within a certain register and sang in a breathy kind of way etc), if anything the reason you think it sounds lacking more than likely is that the melodies aren’t particularly memorable, but it’s not like she’s trying to be Adele here. It’s not amateurish, it’s a choice to make the music As important to the song (if not more important) than the vocal. The vocal is there to set a tone and eventuate the beautiful arrangement more than it is to be enjoyed as a standalone thing. This is a choice that’s employed in many genres of music, it’s fine if you don’t like her voice but no need act like some kind of snobby music teacher.
Fantastic! Wonderful video and the song is great (as always). And congrats on signing to Brainfeeder!

Loving this, dreamy vocals gliding over imaginative songwriting soundscapes. It takes you away somewhere 🎉❤

what is the name of this instrument? Glad for some aswer
I think the instrument you are asking about is "bağlama". It is one of the important instruments of Turkish folk music.
kitsch as hell but nice
I’m sorry, how is Robyn Hitchcock this young again?
Faust channeling Kate Bush haha

Neden hep en kaba yorumlar Türklerden Türklere geliyor? Kız sağlam ve orijinal söylemiş.
