fun fact reneé and sabrina are actually close friends! they were both in mean girls the musical together (sabrina very briefly), but reneé had a pretty long run. i saw her play regina in 2019 ish maybe and she fully carried. i was a mean girls musical stan back then and found her on tiktok when she first got cast. i’ve been a proud fan since then and i’m so freaking excited that she’s getting recognized

I see ‘willow’ to be about a weeping willow tree. Basically the whole song is just a big metaphor, telling the weeping willow not to cry cause she’ll cry for it. It’s also why she says “to lay underneath you [the tree]” and flowers etc.

this album is truly great. its been on repeat for days!! snow angel makes me cry regularly. i also started watching sex lives of college girls after listening to her album & its SO entertaining, i’ve defo been missing out
ash my recommendation for you is to watch some interviews from renee once you understand her humor you’ll understand some of the lines she’s says in her songs for example the line from tummy hurts “i just want some recognition for having good tits and a big heart”

I heard this album a few weeks ago and I loved it! I live for Renee and I’m happy to see her get the appreciation she deserves. She’s soo underrated. Also, no need to be nervous (or get bad feelings) over Olivia album, if I say so myself it’s a GREAT album! Literally prob the best album I’ve heard this year so far sonically and lyrically.
