this set made me realize how much wilbur's improved his singing skills
They make a great harmony, only their accents really clashed at times, Tommy’s singing is very wide and Wilbur’s is much taller, if that makes sense to anyone. Wilbur rounds his vowels more, and Tommy’s vowels are flatter
Edit: just to be clear they do sound great as is it was just what I noticed, and Im pretty sure it’s mostly just because of their actual accents than it is talent, Tommy’s singing is well-supported and has vibrato, he’s doing everything right, he just has an accent that differs from Wilbur’s.

I think its also because Wilbur is from the South and Tommy is from the North of England. In the south, people tend to say an 'a' as a more 'r' sounding.

@@nargizamiri5654 I had a music teacher who was basically my mentor for 7+ years (I played violin for 10+ years lol), and he would play along with me on his 12-string or his mandolin since he knew a lot classical pieces! Since then I've always liked seeing these weird and/or less common variants of instruments (look into double neck guitars some time, the different things you can do with them are *so cool* )

The genuine passion and talent that tommy has his incredible and he looked like he was where he was supposed to be playing on the piano. As a pianist of 12 years, I'm actually super impressed! Tommy's ability to figure out the right chords/notes and keep up is pretty stunning. It takes a ton of time and practice to learn that. I'm also OBSESSED with how the songs sound with piano (it's so cool wtf). PLEASE RELEASE THE SHEET MUSIC I NEED TO PLAY IT.
I know very basic piano, but I’ve been playing clarinet and bass clarinet for around 5-6ish years and I am also SO impressed. I also love how happy they look playing 😊
I don’t think there is sheet music! Wilbur said on stream that he just told Tommy the chords directly before playing the songs and let him improvise
and the way that he has a sheet to play off yet still do so much improv with it too!
Piano player of 2 years. You can tell that tommy has sheet music by how he looks up and leans forward. Is also not that hard to keep up with what chords are playing and when to play. I have really good pitch recognition tho so my experience might be different
He himself has said he’s a “grade 2 pianist” I think, something along those lines. I know nothing about piano so I might’ve heard him wrong lmao, don’t flame me for it :,)

I’m really impressed that Wilbur can play a 12 string. He said on his interview with Anthony Padilla that he’s only been playing guitar for a couple years, and to be able to go from a 6 to a 12 string is really hard but really impressive

A 12 string guitar is the exact same thing as a 6 string guitar, especially since he’s in standard tuning. Every string is just doubled in higher octaves.

Seeing Tommy so genuinely happy warms my heart so much, poor kid has to deal with unbelievable amount of hate that would be hard for anyone, let alone a 17 year old. It’s nice to see him play & sing without a single care in the world.
Im a fan of tommy just as much as the next guy. But he's not a "poor guy" just because he receives some negativity. He's made friends. He's made money. He's probably at the best part of his life just at 17. I'd be pretty carefree too with all that going for me.
