  • In today's LIVE English lesson, we are going to see if YOU know MORE English than a native English speaker.
How I am going to do this? By doing a "simple" quiz.
I have a sentence with a space in it and you have to choose the correct word that goes in that space from the options that are given.
    Doesn’t sound difficult, does it?
Well, many native English speakers will answer a number of these questions INCORRECTLY … YES WRONG!
Why? These are words that are commonly confused in English when writing, especially by native English speakers.
This quiz will have 20 common mistakes native English speakers make whenever they write in English.
If you get more than 15 correct, then you probably know more than a native English speaker.
Let us know how many you get correct!

I was late to see the live streaming, but I have just watched it right now. Interesting questions and great explanations ("advice" is uncountable; I need to remember this 😅. Even if we have: "Consejo" & "Consejos" in Spanish, today I realised this is different in English).

Yes, that is a common mistake for Spanish speakers.
Native English speakers usually confuse the C or the S in it.
