Yes! You see, the base variant of the Kia Carens - Premium is priced at Rs 8.99 lakh and the top variant of the Triber Automatic costs Rs 8.25 lakhs. Given the space and size advantage, can the Carens prove to be a better family car than the Triber, or are the Triber’s top of the line features enough to convenience the family to compromise on size?

I took Triber RXL last month. Comfortable car for family, easy to ride in traffic compared to other 7seaters.
Hi Vidysagar ,How much did it cost You ( on road price). and should i go for RXT variant because i have seen some important features are missing in RXE and RXL like central locking and back row Ac. etc.

Definitely Triber RXZ. Its 4 star safety and fully loaded. The comfortable suspension is another plus. Carens Premium is definety VFM but it lacks features. If One has money, he can consider Caren Prestige, but even then waiting period is now over 12 months. So under budget, its only TRIBER.

Ertiga coming with 1400cc engine but 1300 kg weight and triber coming with 1000cc engine but 950 kg weight according body to weight ratio both are equally capable
A type of comparison I was looking for for a long time. Comparison among different segments is very necessary, especially when the product belongs to two different manufacturers. Sometimes even I get confused that is it really worth to go upper segments for the same requirements.
Triber RXT AMT is real value for money.

Same here. Since August 2021. Daily running above 100 km without any fatigue or bodily stress. The amt's response is just superb. You won't even realise the gears are shifting. Totally comfortable.

Triber top model 9vee carens base model anyday as more value for money with tested 4 star safety rating which carens lack as well as space wise n comfort both are similar plus with overall smaller dimension ,triber will be easy in crowed city roads as well as great highway MPV too...so triber makes more sense in most aspects then carens base model.

I travelled 300 km in tribers last row and surprisingly it's very comfortable even on third row. Excellent suspension set up which swallows pot holes like any other expensive cars.

You should have the base variant of kia. It didn't make any sense to have top model vehicle for comparison of base variant

I took Triber RXT 2023 Model, What I like is inside Space , Comfort with Safety & its peppier drive , It gives good milage with 1Ltr Engine , Supported lot in Sahyadri hills by using Traction control & Stability Control ..Its very handy ..Handsome looking car with Professional European Tone design...While driving you can feel quality ..

Triber is more suitable, practical and very much budget friendly for Indian & congested road with impressive build quality & safety features. Just little bigger than a premium hatchback or Indian sedan car. Can use daily for office traveling as well as with family in the weekend tour.
I will definitely try it as a first & primary car in this year end if it's continued. Ertiga or Carens is very big car for daily office going, budget etc. They are with little different USP.

I have got very good experience with Triber from 2019. It’s still doing very well except engine noise. My model have a tray under driver seat.

KiA carens recalled 40,000 petrol cars back due to engine issues. I already researched alot and finally took Triber RXZ 2022 in oct...Am really happy that I have not gone to Carens😂
I went to Araku which was one of the biggest hill station ..with 7 people and fully loaded no struggles . .but u may feel engine struggle as it was 1litre engine so we cant comment on this ..but for 1litre engine ...its performance will amaze u for sure ...behave like 1.2 ...finally wt u pay wt u got thats all ....but reno giving more ...Hope in feature ..reno come up with turbo soon

aaj 30/12/2022 ko kia ka base variant 10 lack se shuru hai ye on road nhi hai aur triber ka limited addition duel tone colour automatic 8 lac ka hai means 10 lac main with loan, insurance etc apke ghar main gadi khadi hogi wo bhi top model with 4 star.

Triber 3 cylinder underpowered. It need slightly more power. And headlamps visibility during night is very poor . And no fog lamps provided. And 2nd ac compressor is kept inside cabin and noisy.
What is the average of carens on highway and in City?
Does it gives more than triber RXZ?
I the owner of triber RXZ . I challenge to Kia, Maruti, Hyundai. That can they give average of 18 + even on highway?
Even though having small engine,
Triber gives 26+ average on highway with the constant speed of 90-95 ..
😂😂18 mileage is nothing for carens and alcazar😂 they give around 22 in diesel
But in petrol, I think ertiga will give around 24 on the highway with the hybrid.

And another thing, Triber's driving dynamics are better than Ertiga (you can chect it out on Autocar India) and if Carens's dynamics are even better than triber then no doubt its the carens which is better than ertiga (in terms of driving dynamics)

Triber can't be compared with any 7 seater. Because the length is sub 4 meter so the price is low. I hope Nissan will introduce a sub 4 meter 7 seater car to compete with triber. Similar to magnite vs kiger.
