Total paradise. Jackson, WY and Whitefish, MT are hands down my favorite places as far as living goes in the country. Wyoming, Idaho and Montana are the places to be. The West in general is paradise. But those are definitely my favorite places.
Big Mountain is fun, but if people are watching this looking to plan a vacation you should really look at Colorado or Utah again. Colorado and Utah are warmer, you'll seem cooler when you tell people you went there and there are cheap flights to Denver and Salt Lake. Whitefish is hard to get to, cold, usually socked in and the lifts are slow.
