This is a little off-topic considering there's no snow and you're not snowboarding in the vid, but would you compare Ripstik-ing to snowboarding, and do you think being able to Ripstik will help me snowboard this winter? I've tried skiing before but didn't love it/wasn't great at it, but think I'll enjoy snowboarding because I enjoy crusing on Ripstik... I know you've made a vid abt this, but thought I'd ask. Thanks! :)
I’ve ridden ripstiks before and snowboard around 100 days a year. Not a lot of similarities. If you want to learn to snowboard I recommend buying some of the cheapest gear you can find that will get the job done and a season pass to your local mountain. From there it’s just a matter of going every single weekend. There’s nothing other than time on snow that will get you to a higher skill level.
