    • @DC-xv5po
      @DC-xv5po 2 дня назад +6

      I don't think they will need surgery and I hope not. I've saw many rescued puppies with legs like that, it's usually because of parvo at young age and/or bad nutrition and lack of vitamins and supplements. Even one of my dogs had that when he was young (parvo and some other digestive issue that took 2 months to threat) and now he's legs are perfect. The only one with issues seems to be the one that doesn't have the muscles completely developed, but again with good nutrition and exercises he may recover without surgery since he's still a pup and is growing.

      Yes, it is abusive and selfish to cause so much suffering by inbreeding. Also, it seems like everybody is a breeder these days not caring who gets these precious little babies. All they want is a quick easy buck. They take the puppies away from their Mom's way too soon. This is one area where we need stricter laws 😠😔 💔

    Boerbulls (pronounced boor bull) are amazing. They are a South African breed and are usually tan with dark snouts and white patches, I have not seen them with such dark colouring. I had one as a young girl and he was amazing. So protective, loving, mischievous and huge!! I’m South African, so they’re a well known breed here 😊 Thank you for always taking in these amazing babies and for giving them the love and care they deserve and need. When Governments start doing something about this disgusting, unlawful behaviours that breeders are doing and bring in laws with harsher penalties. Including going to jail.
      We bought an English Staffordshire bull terrier 4yrs ago from a proper breeder who requested that we sign a document to have the pup spayed and register it with local council so that she could check the spaying was done. If not, she would be taking the pup back.

      This behaviour by so-called breeders will continue! Why? Because of public demands for new an newer and take the out of fashion dogs to the shelters and Lee picks them up. A throw away society we have become.
      No legislation or rules. Rare breeds get you higher prizes and the demand grows for more. Do some people just want dogs for their egos? Yes!! Especially, if the dog fits in the handbag. That is their ego to show Sorry, I am disillusioned and it's breaking my heart to see them in shelters. The "Good the bad and the ugly" 😢 like one child said
      "I dont want a used dog" to get the mother to get a puppy. Luckily, his mother explained to him why a "used" dog is much better, so he went to have another look from a different perspective😊

    Looks like hyperlaxity. Theirs legs, both front and back, have no tension. It's like they're walking on their elbows and knees. Physical therapy (in swimming pools for example) and really good nutrition could help. Good luck... Due to their size, and the slow growth, it's going to be years of special care. One small advice: They are too fat, even for puppies. They absolutely have to lose weight or the damage will be even worse. They're really cute and I hope they'll find the perfect families

      There's a TON they put into these animals, they're DEFINITELY going to make sure they will be taken care of.im positive not only is there a fee, but lots of paperwork and agreements, and guidelines that need to be done and followed.
      Rest assured There's probably a lot of "red tape" that people have to go through to get a 4 legged animal from them.

    I’ve seen this often with home / backyard bred large breeds such as the Corso.
    Cramped crate conditions, potentially been feed too high a protein diet too soon, vitamin E deficiency. No stairs or jumping up and down. Feeding carefully and not letting them gain weight too quickly. This can be helped.

    • @cherylmillard2067
      @cherylmillard2067 2 дня назад

      That "breeder" shouldn't have three puppies out of a litter with soundness problems, this is why it's so important to do both genetic testing and OFA radiographs on hips and elbows for osteo problems for the breeding pair. Anything less is blatant incompetence on the part of the breeder.
      The adopt don't shop is a false equivalency argument because mixed breeds can also have genetic anomalies like degenerative myelopathy and joint problems.

    Are those Boerboel puppies? If so, they are originally a South African breed. A muscular dog, built strong to protect farms. Hence their name Boer (meaning farmer) & boel (a shortening of boelhond meaning Bulldog).
    They are awesome family dogs when treated right but are banned in many countries who classify them as a dangerous breed.
    Those pups look so happy & loving though so I hope they all go to truly wonderful homes❤

    Hope it's not dysplasia. My #RESCUE #BREEDERS is now 7 y/o. She is GSD/CHOW/HUSKIE floating kneecaps at 9 months, and broke her left tibia in HALF jumping off the porch at 1 year. It's cost me around $2,000. I ended up keeping her too. Even with bad legs she ran off a pitbull attacking my legs, hitting him every step of the way . She's fiercely in love with me and VICE VERSA ❣️Those Boerbels are just BEAUTIFUL DOGS!!! ❤

    This beautiful breed is a from South Africa. Boerboel's must be socialized with both people and other animals alike as the have very strong guarding/protection instincts. They are fairly rare - perhaps this is why they had a bad breeder who caused the issues for these sweet souls. They are safe now and that is what is important. ❤❤❤

    ❤❤❤…..DEAR ASHER & STAFF……❤️❤️❤️
    As you can read in your comments many viewers are concerned regarding the home where you rescued these puppies. Please investigate, if possible, to make sure this isn’t an abusive/unethical dog breeding residents. Common sense will tell that something physically had to take place in order for ALL of the puppies to have the same issues on ALL of their paws. So sad 😔…God bless you and your team ❤️🙏❤️

    • @cherylmillard2067
      @cherylmillard2067 2 дня назад +1

      If they start investigating former owners, then people will be less likely to surrender their animals to the Asher House. It's between a rock and a hard place, try to remember that. Unethical breeders will continue to breed more dogs, etc.
      That "breeder" shouldn't have three puppies out of a litter with soundness problems, this is why it's so important to do both genetic testing and OFA radiographs on hips and elbows for osteo problems for the breeding pair. Anything less is blatant incompetence on the part of the breeder.

    They clearly need bracing on the limbs to put them back onto their paws and build up their tendons. This can happen when you have backyard breeders that keep litters in small cages. They can not run free or build up strength in their legs. It can be fixed with therapy. Painful road but fixable.
