Oh dear!...Don't understand why Chelsea fans seem to think they are an elite club!, they are far from that, don't get me wrong they have won the League six times and the Champions League the once which is an achievement.
But Chelsea biggest weakness is its inconsistency, they never follow any success up, which is why Chelsea will never be an elite club!, they come along and rarely win the league every now and again but things have changed for Chelsea and Abramovich cannot keep up with the spending power of Man City and Man Utd.
Man, Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal are still miles in front in terms of honors, but nothing will change with Chelsea until they stick with a manager and give the manager what he needs.

Spurs90' rudiger has been brilliant for us and Christensen has been great just going through a rough patch but he's still very young for a starting cb so he'll bounce back, if we lined up with a back four of Azpi rudiger Christensen and Emerson (more talented and doesn't struggle against lace like Alonso) with Kante in the midfield we would be really solid

+One Seven I’m a chelsea fan and I hate how managers aren’t given a chance and how fans (of a lot of teams not just chelsea) always demand so much and for managers to get sacked. Although Chelsea are the worse for sacking managers it’s embarrassing. I will always be thankful for conte but now I do see an argument for why he should be sacked. But I’m conte in because even if we get a new manager in 2 years we’ll either be in the same position we are in now or worse and we won’t stop the cycle of sacking managers. U shouldn’t scream for ur manager out unless things are really bad just like how arsenal fans shouldn’t boo their players off at HT when it’s 0-0. Anyway that’s just my opinion

Lewis mate parts of your argument is flawed. If we had supported conte to build his dynasty in the transfer market he would have bought Antonio Candreva, and Giorgio Chiellini who are 31 and 33 respectively. If conte brought in those players and lost the league (which he would have considering Manchester City’s dominance) he would have been sacked and we would have been stuck with 2 aging players that will give diminished returns on the pitch and take up a roster spot for players who deserve it. The only player that made sense to bring in was Alex Sandro and that ended up being the guy we tried hardest to get but juve wouldn’t budge. If we find a coach that aligns with the boards vision things will improve but that needs to happen first. Being out of the champions league will hopefully be a blessing because it will force our club to grow instead of buying the league.

Instead the Chelsea board tried the ‘galactico’ technique they sold these and kept buying and as a result they have no substantial amount of players in their current starting XI who have risen through the ranks at Chelsea. So I repeat the board have consistently and systematically let down the club.

The problem other teams have studied Conte. They use first half to study his tactics and change accordingly second half while he is sticking to the same tactics. Conte has no plan B, that is his problem.

Because even if the Board had given Conte say Sandro and Vidal or Naingollan, Lukaku, and what if they all got injured, Conte is the kind of manager who wouldn't what to do.
