Marks how Sakura was and is still the most important girl to him. And I still think the girls in those backstage scenes are still not as cute, glowing, mesmerizing, and beautiful as Sakura in the stairwell, which confirms that is Kotaro's vision of her. They look like their usual self (which is so cute!) with lip gloss.

I would like to also mention that in episode 11 of ZLS:R, the scene where Sakura wakes up and leaves the room, she said "I've felt fine ever since becoming a zombie, something is happening to my body!" that got me worrying and made me thought of this question "Does franchouchou have a time limit of how long they could stay alive? or If Saga gets saved or destroyed, do they die again?" hopefully I am wrong and I was overthinking and they get to live longer.

I think it worked out for Sakura in the end. Even if she manages to send the application, she most likely won't be able to be an idol anyway, since there's a very, very slim chance for her to join Iron Frill. And of course, when she fails, she'd fall into depression and despair even more.
I think what Miyano-san was referring to was that if a song with lyrics started playing at that part, it would've ruined the emotion of the scene, so he's glad they went with background music instead.
