Love the blitz videos Simon! I have to say I follow a lot of chess streamers and youtubers for a long time and you're the most entertaining one I've seen so far, both for your personality and aggressive / fearless style of play. Cheers!
Simon having been bought your Jobava London system by my daughter I have to say it is superb. My London system knowledge has improved tremendously. I have gone form 40% to 62% win rate playing it. Thanks
So much fun to watch you playing, attacking and sacking 🙂 by far my favourite youtuber Mr Williams! With you’re repertoire I am 2200 now, and enjoying to give pawns ahah
Simonnnn! Thanks a lot for the Jobava London system. I've been watching your videos for 4 years now. I finally reached 2000 lichess blitz rating thanks to you and st Louis chess club.
dude ! 2nd and 3rd game !!!! jaw-droping live -Action from Mr.Williams !! magic ! absolutely inspiring !!! and then 12.48 , Epic lol Moment ! you gave a nice lecture About remembering and recognizing Patterns and in the next you immediatly forgot About it ! what a Charisma , please dont stop Posting Videos ! Always a delight
Hilarious mouseslip! Thanks and thanks again! I've been playing the Black lion. It works better the more you play it. Playin it with white as well. Against the sicilian. I've got my own system there. Wouldn't want to bore anyone with details. Cheers mate!
I play the Jobava London againt d5 for months, it works awesome 👍👍👍.those kb5 lines are so dangerous for black. I loved the chat with Blair and the idea of double commentary, you two are buddies feels like playing chess with a group of friends. Hope Blair makes a comeback 👍
@@juliandrews8575 Cheers, julian :D I originally thought of it as a positional sac, and only then found the tactical justification afterwards. Its nice when that happens!
Dear Simon, please keep posting Jovaba-London (and of course Black Lion) videos. I changed my white opening from 1.d4 and 2.Nf3 to this exciting Jobava-London. Some brutal OTB wins against weaker opponents. And I have the feeling that stronger opponents are slightly less comfortable to play against this. I wish you all the best! P.S. I am regularly laughing how You treated Blair in your Jobava London video :-D
Very familiar with dominating games losses situations... Totally frustrating... But in your case Simon, we wouldn't have these fun videos of yours if you always crush your opponents 😄
Simon, I think at 46:22 ... Nc4 counter-threatening his Qd2 would have saved the position. Either the Queens are swapped off immediately or after Qf4 ... Qf5.
Hi Simom . I have seen Naka playing 1. Nf3, 2.b3 a lot .. I seems a good opening . Coud you play this opening and show some ideas in next video ? Thanks
When you were playing the Jobava London, after your e4 move, I was disappointed that your opponent didn't try dxe4. I wanted to see what you would do in that case.
"some of you may think this is not ideal, annnddd..... I'm starting to feel the same" 😂😂😂 oh you kill me!
same
Hhhhhhhh
Was looking for this comment. 😂😂😂
Enjoyed watching this! Your foe was a gentleman and a fine player. Looking forward to more on your Jobava and soon! ;) -- Bax Attacks

Yeah the intro reminds me of Blackbooks
I like the Jobrava DVD, it was a great intro and like you said, a more detailed one would be great.
fair play to your opponent. Real classy!

Nice video, man. Love the stream of consciousness
was the exchange sack working at 20:10 ? looks like its winning the queen after Nd6 then, wherever he moves, the darksq bish check
yh he missed it

what a pleasant opponent! fun watch, Simon, thanks.
The opening is known as the Humprey Bogart Gambit. Nakumara used to play it a lot (no, not that Nakamura - a different one)
Finally, some eagerly anticipated Ginger Madness. As always, fun to watch. Keep rocking, Sir ;-)
Would love to see more of your games with the Bronstein Gambit/Weidenhagen-Gibbens accepted.
1st game-me 2nd game alpha zero. god the shades of GingerGM

Always get Simon & Garfunkel stuck in my head when I watch GingerGM. "Time, time, time, see what's become of me..."
11:33 I feel you Simon, I feel you...
I get a stitch in my side whenever I watch these videos.

so nice spicy chess
Thank you for the vidio. Great fun, as always.
At 5:50 instead of moving your king, couldn't you go QF2 for mate? Or did I miss something?
This man is a salesman 😂 “such an easy opening to play. Such an easy opening to master.”
It’s true though
Hi Simon, I picked up the Jobava a little while ago, can you go over the gambit line you are trying to play in these? Thanks!
ok williams, well fuckin done!!
23:57 - How many times , Simon.. What a staggering number of cases, where humans have 'done it to themselves' in history. With one hand, or another 😶.
Hi Simom . I have seen Naka playing 1. Nf3, 2.b3 a lot .. I seems a good opening . Coud you play this opening and show some ideas in next video ?
