Apparently they are having a hard time with the screen printing on the darker fabrics, which makes sense if you think about the process. I'm not giving a pass for no diversity this far into the line, just wanted to put that out there
Hm, I love all of the Na! Na! Na! surprise dolls, but my favorite is the Black Cat.
I’m pretty sure it’s a Whale since Krysta Splash (Surfer girl) has a Dolphin sticker. Most depictions of sharks would have sharp teeth, so I’d say Sailor Blu’s Animal is a Whale 🐳

Starting a Becky and Ducky fan club because they are my favvvv nanana dolls thus far, I need them!! And I thought I was the only one who noticed the lack of diversity within the na dolls, hoping mga is really working on that.

As a disabled, wheelchair-using woman, I am seriously happy that Becky has a wooden (prosthetic) leg! It feels like disabled representation, even though I’m sure it’s meant to be just a pirate thing. I did ask for some Na Na Nas for Christmas, including Becky, so depending on who I actually get, I may end up buying her myself. Glad to know that I should use Target instead of Amazon.
I felt the same way. I was going to comment something similar but I'd much rather raise up fellow disabled people
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who feels this way! I’d probably get her anyway, because she’s a ginger and I’m a ginger; therefore, I must own all ginger dolls. But that wooden leg really put her over the top. Pirates get a bad rep, and rightfully so, but they really had a can-do attitude when it came to disability. No eye? Here’s an eye-patch! No leg? Here’s a wooden one! No arm? Here’s a hook! Now, get back to plundering!

I got my daughter her first Na Na Na Surprise for Christmas and she thought it was hilarious(!!!) to pop the confetti directly in my face while I was pulling the little strip off for her. I'm still finding the small confetti pieces in my recliner. 😂

I love Becky Buccaneer as I share her name and LOVE the color red! She is hands on my favorite and I need her in my life!
I just bought my first Na Na Na for my granddaughter for Christmas. It is Series 3 and the Dalmatian one. She is going to love it and I really appreciate the small stickers denoting which doll is inside! However I will say that for $20 I would think that the doll's hair could be rooted rather than stitched on to the parameter of the hat, making the hat non-removeable. It is a very cheap way to go and MGA really needs to change that. I may try to re-root hair on the doll's head, depending on what my granddaughter thinks.
I personally get really anxious about stuff like confetti so I would probably just cut the bag open and get the doll lol
The Na Na Na Surprise Sparkle series 1 dolls are really cute, love Becky with the pirate theme and red hair she would have to be my favourite of this series, then Daria, Marina and Andre. Looking forward to seeing what they release in the next sparkle series, and would be great to see a darker skin tone with these dolls. Love your review 😍💖

I'm posting from the future to say the Sailor is adorable and Becky Buccaneer is fierce!! I love her wooden leg, and that she has a bandana and a hat like Captain Jack Sparrow! Dear lord. I have 6 teens and 3 regular Na Nas. They are like potato chips. So addictive!! I am trying to resist getting more. I just received Rebel.Dare yesterday. 💜🖤

Ok, I'm late on the Na! Na! Na! dolls but when I walked down the doll section at Walmart and saw the Becky Buccaneer doll on the box I had to get it, seeing I'm a big Pittsburgh Pirates/ Penguins fan the detail on these dolls are awesome!! And yes the next day I went back and got the Andre Avalanche doll. 😍🐧

What is there to figure out when to comes to making darker skinned dolls? Dark skinned people come in many shades and many appearances the fact they've made so many waves and included zero diversity in skintone is just lazy.
Both cute. With the diversity thing, I think as Americans we forget that toys ship worldwide and not every country is not as diverse as we are and aren't checking for black dolls like that. Even some towns here still lack diversity, and when black dolls are made, not all stores decide to carry them. The dark skinned dolls appease some of us but they aren't necessarily big sellers overall. If there is enough demand they may make some, but folks need to buy them.
Becky is my fav then Sailor Blue then Ducky. Great video.
I found the mermaid one at my target last week and was super excited about it ! I wish Mga would listen to us and do the same as in this line and put a sticker on the outside of the lol ball so us parents who are actually shelling out the money buying these actually know they are not getting a duplicate !!!
I also got the mermaid last week at my Target. This week I went to buy presents and they had none of the sparkle series left.

I also still use the word filming, constantly looking for a different way to say I’m filming a video. I’ve had to erase & re write a few texts after realizing that doesn’t make sense & would make me look old 😅 I guess making a video is the way to say it but it’s missing that certain je ne sais quois *flips hair & sips champagne* 🥂

I think the reason they havent made a darker skin tone is maybe the colors they are choosing for a darker fabric it might not be showing up in good quality i hope they figure it out because i love how. Beautiful these dolls look

They should've really tested that and then debuted these dolls!

I honestly don’t know how to feel about the sequins, I find sequins kinda uncomfortable to touch but I love the way this series looks so I might just have to ignore that part because I really do want to own these dolls

i just love the nautical theme these two have! Sailor Blue's hat and shoes in particular remind me of the Sea Odyssey Winx Club dolls/sailor outfits the Winx wore in season 5... though i think these dolls are way cuter. 80s themed video coming up... can we be expecting Courtney? 👀

i think the problem is that they would need to thicken the printing on a darker fabric, which would make it look cheap and it also would peel off easily.

Nooo... wish you would've shown Becky's hat better. I just got her frommy local Target today, but her hat is all messed up. I think they missed a stitch for the front maybe? The front and sides just stay flopped down 🥺

It almost looks like they print the eyes and the undergarments on the fabric. I think it’s harder to have the saturation on darker fabric. Maybe prototypes haven’t been up to quality standards.
Hmmm, while watching and listening to your small plea, to have dark skinned dolls, i thought, that maybe they have the lighter skin ones because you can print all the colors for their faces, their underwear and all the details much easier on a light fabric and still have to work for colors printing on a much darker fabric. But yeah, dolls in all skin tones is a goal any doll company should have put on their list! Aunt Edir says: Maybe the problem is smaller 'cause the skin tone seems to be printed on a white fabric too...
If anyone can tell me, how well do they stand? I’m looking to get a few, I just want to know the best way to display them, or if I should make/buy some stands.
Not sure I haven’t opened any of mine yet, I still have series 1 & 2 in the “box” 😅 I would assume they’d need a stand being kinda soft? But I could be wrong 🤷🏼♀️
