Hi all! I hope you enjoy this easy-peel eggs and deviled egg video! You can print the instructions on the recipe card here: www.elizabethrider.com/perfect-easy-to-peel-hard-boiled-eggs/ enjoy!
I just finished making hard boiled eggs using your method and it worked out great! I have been wasting eggs and searching for a good method for a long time and yours is the winner. Thank you!
I just read your "Easy-to-Peel Hard-Boiled Egg" blog. I clicked on this video suggestion within your blog. I just finished following your directions on the boiling process. It works! I made a dozen and only had one stubborn egg that did not come away from the shell! I think that's because I had 11 old eggs and one new egg. It was also the only one that floated. It wasn't bad - tasted fine, but perhaps the older eggs do make better hard-boiled eggs. I also used your ziplock hint when piping the filling! Thank you so much for your helpful suggestions! Start to finish everything took about an hour. (It was the first time making these so I took my time. It should go faster in the future.) I feel so much better now that I'm ahead of the holiday - Easter in 4 days! Thank you and Happy Easter! 🐥🐣🐤
As someone who is learning to cook late in life, I appreciate you taking the time to go over basics! Thanks for this video, I’m excited to make these for mine and my friends’ Galentine’s Day brunch in a couple weeks!
thank you for your video after having the ugliest, deviled eggs for Thanksgiving. I will be following your directions. Actually, these are the directions my father taught me and for some reason I thought you could improve on how to bowl a hard boiled egg, but no, I was totally wrong and I thank you for showing me again and reminding me that this is the way to do it. Lol. Happy holidays to everyone coming here to learn how to boil a hard boiled egg and thank you for your videos..
I almost always take them straight from the fridge and I’ve never had them crack (boil the water then reduce to a bare simmer before lowering in the eggs). That said, if you’re worried about it, bring them to room temp first. How long it takes to come to room temp will depend on your environment. Plan for 2-6 hours.
I don't add salt or baking soda to the water. I've tried every way (salt, vinegar, baking soda) and for me none of them have made enough of a difference to add them.

Thanks great video.
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Do the eggs have to be room temperature? I'm pretty sure if you put cold eggs in boiling water they crack no?

Awesome thank you for your help. I appreciate it.
So no salt or baking soda needed in boiling water?

Thanks for this!
