Thank you for the real, practical advice! Maybe one day can you kindly answer a question on how to address those big double height suburban great rooms… What do you do with that big blank wall if there’s not already a fireplace on it? Do you build a faux fireplace? How high up would you go with custom shelving on that tall wall or would you do modern lower height cabinetry and forgo some storage? Thank you! ❤

Personally I see it as wasted space which will wind up costing the owner more money to heat or cool. And it’s an added cost to the builder, as he builds wasted space which he has to then recoup from the buyer who has no clue what to do with all of that space.

I can't wait to live in a world where every each of us can literally choose EXACTLY what it wants in the process of its own home design, without ever being questioned by silly so called designers or architects that do not give two cares about what YOU, the INDIVIDUAL wants!!!! I want to choose whatever material I WANT, TO HAVE FULL ACCESS to choose the pieces that I wish, the colours, right from my own desk and do what I want without being called by designers stupid or "less refined" than them...cas I believe I CAN CHOOSE WHAT I WANT TO MYSELF, AND I CAN WISH MYSELF THE PRETTIEST THINGS....many times designers and architects are doing MY WISHES more like a topic about themselves than rather what is the best for me.. too many times I get to be just impacted in society rather to be able to express fully my wishes...sorry but MY HOME is ABOUT ME and not about some designers and their resumes or personal agendas
