people really dont realize how long each video actually takes. Ive spent over 100 hours on a short before and over 100 on the one im currently working on, i cant imagine how long each individual video takes for you longform creators cause my videos max out at 60 seconds and it still takes me longer then an average work week 😭
the visuals in your speedrun video were top tier and its sad when the effort behind them is unseen. you should be very proud of how that video turned out. the 24 hour stream sounds hype
I'll never care how long an upload takes as long as i can feel that work and want to do that said video. If I need to wait a year for a solid 15 minute video with the best story of all time, then I'll wait. But something I've learned editing for other youtubers is working on 5 things at once typically speeds up how fast i can get a video out IN THE LONG TERM. It tends to also eliminate the "getting blown out" factor because every day its like I'm telling 5 DIFFERENT stories which always keeps me interested in what I'm doing. Now you might think "Wouldn't that slow down upload speed?", to that I'd say yes IT COULD if you don't understand the priority system. As long as you make sure to work more on the highest priority video while also juggling those low priority videos as well, over time you'd be getting good videos out more consistently. Another thing (I KNOW IM YAPPING) but I've noticed I work the best within my first hour of editing, that's why my videos seem really good for the beginning but may begin to slack near the end. So I start only doing an hour a day on each video, or at least 1 hour on 3 hours off then repeat the cycle, It resulted in me putting out work I love while also never making me feel blown out, and typically making me want to edit more because of excitement. Sorry for the long speech, but figured id throw out some of my strategies incase you haven't heard of them before. (It should be noted I'm in college and have a full time job for the Military, so my time i have to work on videos will be different from other creators, so change the rules a bit of they don't fit your needs. For example, if you see you work the best working at 1PM for 2 hours then change accordingly!)
Probably one or the best videos you could've uploaded, im always so interested in the editing process - especially for yours since i found the first video (pluss i was watching the stronghold gen clip and thinking "damn how long did that take"
Watched the entire video 😅 it's kinda of crazy. I usually spend 15-20 hours on my videos. Really goes to show the difference between 700 subs and hundreds of thousands of them, 480 more hours...
24 hours of streaming seems like a lot. I'd suggest getting everything ready the night prior to the stream. Idk maybe put a black png on your screen so they don't burn in and then stream when you wake up so you are at optimal performance. Kind of like packing the night before you go home from a long trip so you don't have to pack in the morning and add that to your stressors. Good luck with that endeavor. I don't really watch streams, so i'll just cheer from the sidelines and stuff ig.
made it to the end of the video, I've never heard of you or watched a main channel video. as a part time youtuber who doesn't have much time to make videos, it was great to hear a full time youtuber's perspective on this. i made an hour long, more story driven scripted video that over a month and i found it very exhausting. how do you manage to not burn out?
to be fair, i do burnout, i actually had a bad bout of it this year and didnt upload from January-August 💀 i think the best thing to keep in mind is making sure you keep your work feeling fresh, for me it was starting to use face cam in videos and planning on doing content on some different aspects of minecraft instead of just SMPs, or a different medium entirely (this channel for example)
Nerd 🤓🤓 (Joking) Jokes aside, this is the commitment of a true youtuber 🐿 I'm not one - I just make random silly videos and upload very rarely lolol (gonna make h2o just add water but I poorly edited it part 3 soon - hopefully I can start on the 21st cause I don't have time this week due to college so wish me luck!)
"What the same about all my videos?" Minecraft
BRO RIGHT! My structure museum video LITERALLY took over 3 months to make of working on it over 40 hours a week.
lmaoo what
Yo we got Beppo over here now
i got a comment once on a video that took a year to make saying "this must have taken days... or even weeks" 😭
.
Which one?
BRO YOUR VIDEOS TAKE MORE THAN A DAY TO MAKE NO WAY
i made it till the end of the video lol, it was interesting to see cuz my process looks a lot different than yours
Because they're good. Thanks for slopping by.

The worst part is, you may spend 300 hours on a video, but then realise that 1 short got 100x views and gained you thousands of subscribers
I LOVED the illusions video may be my favorite one of yours!
Loving these videos, you’re a huge inspiration for me when it comes to my videos! I love to see the bts! Also made it the end

All Good Tazoh, good luck on the stream,
Madde it to the end of the video ! I want to be a youtuber, not a minecraft one tho, and this was very insightful, thank you !

Tazoh your in my MC video!
18:45 I somehow managed to watch to the end.
Awesome Video, I Spend Forever Trying To Make Videos But End Up Deleting Them Usually. I just think they suck...
bed first video for me, my bed I.
I tried making a really complex video and it literally took 2 weeks to edit 4 minutes of video lmao. RUclips is no joke!
i made it to the end of the video
'Why my videos take forever to make?' BECAUSE AM GOD DAMN LAZY!!!
if you said that the 2 hour speedrun vid was meant to come out in febuary it took around 8 months or 6k hours
I feel like something he could’ve done is like record and upload smaller parts of the video more frequently (no disrespect)
all the way to the end of this video
Is this Tazoh’s full-time profession? Or a job on the side?
I watch the whole video I really liked it I'd be down if you just made more of this stuff ✨
ggs you deserved more subs
I don’t know what’s the same about your videos I wasn’t even seen them
I am learning editing too😊
