Great little tutorial on rigging for car shots. It’s amazing what tools are being developed for smartphone photographers these days. Thanks for showing us so many details!
Mounting that little light to the inside of your driver window to help balance the exposure between your face and the sky is a BRILLIANT move. I'll be trying that out tomorrow! Thanks for all the great tips.
Great video. Great creative ideas. You mentioned that you film using the Blackmagic App code 422HQ. However, you were not using external SSD. So I’m assuming that u got tons of memory on your IPhone. 😅 Or, you did not showcased a SSD external drive Cuzz it’s just for demonstration purposes?
For interior shots, if you have a smaller car and can't fit in a tripod, a magic arm does wonders. Also, I've found that placing your phone on the passanger seat for a low angle shot also gives an interesting perspective. But man, the One Suction looks good. I doubt I'll be able to get away with city drives, but it's defenitely a neat investment.
This was excellent… I make off-road/overland trail guides and that means not every part of the video can be action packed. These tips will help me make the slower parts of a trail a bit easier to watch. Thanks!
Excellent video! Lots of great tips and examples, and every shot is documented. I'm saving this because I know I'll refer to it in the future. Gonna mash that subscribe button!
Is the DJI receiver adapter the factory one? I have the mic2 and I can’t use it with my iPhone 14 Pro in my Otterbox case. In your video it looks like the adapter is much longer than the one on the mic2’s receiver. Can you please clarify as I don’t like taking my phone out of the protective case every time I want to record audio with the mic2 system. Great video with lots of good ideas!! Thank you and keep them coming!!!
