One of the best bands from New Zealand that are amazing live. Always sells out their tours around the country. You should check out more of them. Thank you for the reaction. 👍
So Glad our honorary "Kiwi" Aussie from across the ditch, Shieldsy, has put you onto L.A.B L.A.B are a NZ band which formed in 2016 with a very versatile discography ranging from Soul, RnB, Funk, Blues, Reggae, Rock and even a little Country. Their music caters to a wide variety of tastes blending different genres with that old school sound/live performances from 70s and 80s. It's probably why they're so big in NZ, Aus and wider Pacific region. If you rockin Kiwi artists their supporters will certainly is come a knockin. Most L.A.B/Kiwi supporters will always recommend starting with their latest releases, showcasing their current level of musicianship first and in doing so selling the band short by implying accidentally or omission that their earlier works were somehow inferior. I prefer to watch a bands journey from the beginning and see their growth along the way. So with that in mind you should start with the song that put them on the public/media radar "In the Air" which aptly reflects the laidback culture in NZ. There are so many great performances I think you'll appreciate. Enjoy the L.A.B ride and journey down NZs music scene. PS: Little River Band LRB are an awesome Aussie band from 70s/80s that bring that Blue Eyed Soul/Yatch Rock.
I would argue that some of the older music is better, especially for the rock sound they used to do so well! Seen them live 7 times now and I love all the new stuff but sometimes I miss the way Joel makes that guitar sing like the first, second and third album!
Funny name tag you have. 😏. Thank you so much for the education about NZ artists, and for checking us out. Its pretty cool hearing all this great music around the world. Happy Shieldsy out NZ in our heads. Actually, just reacted to, Stan Walker. ruclips.net/video/-mDg0qgvbAQ/видео.htmlsi=Llr-ii55wYR1MfLQ ~ Tazzz ~

New Zealand has a amazing history of world-class musicians, artists and bands. L.A.B. sits proudly in that group alongside some of our current crop of musicmakers including Six-60, Fat Freddies, Stan Walker, Troy Kingi, Lorde (actually, not a fan)...... I could write an essay.
