Great video! After trying cruising in 2010 then again in 2022, we thought we just weren’t cruisers. We tried VV on a whim while planning a 3 week holiday in Greece. In a word…Amazing! No kids, no buffets, no MDR, no stale production shows. Great food and entertainment. We liked it so much we booked two more cruises while on board. I am a convert to Virginism!
Thanks for the review. Its funny because when Virgin debuted right before the pandemic hit, traditional cruisers hated Virgin. They complained about the small pool, the weird cabins, blah blah blah. It turns out Virgin created a cruise line that was not targeting traditional cruisers and Virgin gets outstanding reviews now from new cruisers and also traditional cruisers like yourself.
Nice to hear your take on Virgin and agree it's hard to spend the credit! Got us excited for our upcoming Virgin cruise. Hope it's as good second time around!
Thx for the review Favor. I really value your opinion. I have to say Virgin is HIGH on my list to sail HOWEVER I’m not sure I can book them knowing you can’t pick your cabin location. I have extreme trepidation thx to a Carnival rep that booked us over the night club. I learned after that to select my own cabin. No cabin is perfect however we are morning people not night people at all and people that say just learn to stay up later don’t get it. Please tell me how you overcame not being able to select your cabin and what would you have done if your location had been horrible?
Hi! Call to book, that is what we did. I told them I needed a quiet cabin. Most of them are. The layout of the ship seems to be set up in a way that the cabins are generally quiet. IF your cabin is not in a good location for you then you can call and I would think they could move it. We did not need to and when we booked we had our cabin assigned right then. I do recommend booking with an agent over the phone...We were given our cabin number immediately so I am assuming you could request that it be moved if needed. The customer service was great when we had to call. Happy Cruising!
Thank you for making this vldeo. I’ve been on the ups and downs about booking a Virgin cruise. We usually only cruise RC and Carnival. We are more of a PG rated family so wasn’t sure about virgin? Also wasn’t sure about how they price things out. This vlog was very helpful and I think we are going to book. Thank you!
Good video. I was not interested in the Virgin style of cruising. Too contemporary. I guess I am too Royal. LOL BUT you have convinced me to try them. I can see where I would have fun and enjoy a different type of cruising. Thank You

I love that the crew are allowed to enjoy the cruise too, when off duty. No wonder they enjoy working for Virgin. They seem like the company are getting so much right. I would really like to try it. The lack of swimming on board, just means that I must get off in port and swim in the sea or find a beach club . Better start saving!
No, not at all! Most people on board were over 40 and there were many over 60. You are the perfect age for Virgin! Hope you decide to try them and have a BLAST! Hugs!
I’m surprised that y’all liked virgin as well as Dee and Jay, y’all seem very conservative meaning virgin has drag queens and such. Anyway my partner and I still have to try virgin.
I don't like that we come off so conservative that we wouldn't enjoy a Drag Queen. Carlos (Drag Queen) and Edyl were my favorite! We are not as conservative as many people think - this is not a political statement. I know we seem quiet and reserved but we still know how to have fun and enjoy all types of entertainment. My concern with Virgin prior to booking was not the entertainment but the crowd of passengers being too young and too rambunctious for us. We were unnecessarily worried. We were actually right in the middle of the age bracket and very much enjoyed visiting with other passengers. Perhaps I should have touched on this in the video... I hope you get to try them soon and that you love the line as we did! Hugs!

You convinced me to give them a try. My sister and I are on a five-night in February on the Valiant Lady.
