  • In this video I show you just how cool the SmokeNINJA is!
The SmokeNINJA is the smaller, more budget-friendly alternative to the original SmokeGENIE, but don't let its tiny footprint fool you, because it's an extremely capable smoke machine.
If you've ever used a cheap fog machine to create smoke effects or haze a room, you know that they are bulky, finicky, and require a LOT of fog juice.
The SmokeNINJA is battery-powered, pocket-sized, and can creake fog, steam, or dry ice looks instantly.
It's perfect for portraits, food, and products, to add depth and atmosphere to your films, or to replicate real-world steam and fog effects.
Leave a comment and let me know what you think about the SmokeNINJA.

I backed the Kickstarter and can confirm... it's a GREAT tool... and built very well. Very happy with mine.

It really is something that you think "oh that would be SO cool!" that someone actually made a reality, haha!

Have you ever used a fog/smoke machine? What about a hazer? How do you think it compares to the SmokeNINJA?

Looks sick! Love smoke machines so good for b-roll. Great overview!

It's kind of a secret weapon to make bad b-roll look good, good b-roll look great, and great b-roll look WOWWW!!!

Does the smoke condense somwhere somehow or could i use it to showcase things like antiques or old electronics as well?

In my experience, the fog and steam effects leave nothing behind. If you use the dry ice setting close up and for an extended time, it can sometimes leave a slight film behind, but it wipes right off.
It's meant to be used around cameras, lights, and other filmmaking gear, so I can't see it harming electronics unless MAYBE you're pouring hours of smoke directly onto a circuit board or something.

@@NewLayer thanks a lot for your reply. I'm just starting to get back into editing and filming and I am looking for neat little gadgets that might keep me going on slower days. :D

@@HustlerHorstRuediger I hear you! Sometimes the gear is what motivates me to actually make content.
This is one of my other favorite pieces of recent gear: ruclips.net/video/Fj6l3EFTkzA/видео.html It's a fool proof way to get some great b-roll shots, especially when I'm not feeling motivated or need some solid closeups.
