if democracy is the thing, why is the US not abiding by the majority votes in UN? Why would there be 5 countries with veto rights in UN?

No one wants US to maintain strategic balance. Strategic balance is not determined by one country. It is NOT strategic balance when one country holds sway and tells everyone what to do, as what US is doing now, at least in ASEAN. Asia does not want hegemonic balance. Multipolarity is the key to getting along with everybody. Threats of war american style is not what we want. Offers of economic cooperation, etc is the key to good international relationships. That is why china is benefiting from the American dysfunctional approach to international relationships. It offers trade whilst america offers war. America has not realised this and keeps doing its warmongering.

Well Most if not all Loves the US presence as a Strategic Counter Balance .
Without the US presence, The rest cannot derieve much value from the domineering local powers.

If you want the woman (matriarchy in this case) to be a reliable partner, get her pregnant.

This panel provoked a visceral reaction of disgust in me on several occasions! Laughing and giggling about a war?!? Let’s hope those individuals are a product of some old school way of thinking where being cynical was perceived as being smart and they are not bad or cynical people otherwise, but just old and on their way to irrelevance (in terms of behavior, not necessarily ideas).
