It's not him. It's J.R. Hutson (also the producer of the track).
J R produced the track but I do believe JT helped JR with singing the harmonies. This was recorded around the time Justified was recorded (which had Vanessa on background vocals for Rock Your Body).

This one of those open highway jams, long stretch of road, top down, doing a little under the speed limit, preroll, ginger lemonade, lite ice.

I swear the different melodies and harmonies and vocals you get are amazing! This song is a great example to mess around with. Leave the tones and speed alone and just mess with the first one, you'll see what I mean.

So I did some digging, found the above 2014 interview where Vanessa herself clears up (1) JUSTIN IS NOT SINGING and (2) the “JR” guy produced this not Pharrell. I love G’Money too which was released in 05 but I’m not clear on when JR recorded this, some suggestions are 02-03 but I don’t have proof. I hate how the industry copies and don’t always give credit!
Also I’m a JT fan but NEVER heard of the Recrimination album…saw online where someone said it was a bootleg/unofficial release…so wth released it?😅 Justin’s not even on the track🤦🏾♀️
